No regrets: ANY & ALL of my 40 cal pistols ( Beretta 96, HK USPc 40, Glock 23 & Para P16-40)
Most regret: I really haven't had much regret in selling a firearm because I don't sell guns I like or shoot well ;)

I had a Smith & Wesson 686 nickel .357 that was smooth as silk..... my first duty weapon, which I got rid of when the department I worked for went to Glocks.... always regretted selling it, it was a great gun.

At least a couple of guns I currently have came from deceased gun owner's collections. They are good reminders that ownership is a temporary condition.

i know this isn't a handgun but my remington 1100 20ga, that i had since i could remember but i was in the army had pay issues, and had o feed my family and pay the rent and i had to sell a few guns, guitars and recording equipmet. now that i think about it i should have just sold my body!:)

but hindsight is always 20/20

Without a doubt a HK91 I traded back in the early 90's for 5 handguns. I left the rifle at the dealer while he ordered my handguns. Two days later the feds raided him. Two years later I ended up with a check from the Illinois attorney gerneral for $64.00. I lost about $1500 on the "deal". I never did find out if he did jail time or the extent of the charges.

Oh, my stupidest handgun sale was getting rid of my .44 Super Redhawk when I was strapped for cash.

My ASP S&W Md. 39-2. I did not care for the guttersnipe sights, but should have kept it because of it's rareness.

A series one Kimber Ultra Carry. It was very accurate. Never a glitch. Traded it for a rifle that I traded 3 mos later for an AR. sob.

Most regret = 1984 Daewoo K2 bought for $350 sold in 1995 for $1250 All original folder, flash hider, bayonet lug, adjustable gas port long gas piston AK type on an AR type lower using AR15 bolt modified.

Least regret = all the Glocks I've unloaded 21, 23, 30, 17, 19.

Never sold a gun that I owned.

I find it very interesting that in the auto-loader subforum there is a very high rate of regretting selling revolvers.

I burned myself(took a fat loss) when I sold my S&W 66 357mag w/ 2.5" barrel. I replaced it years later with a 66 w/ 3" barrel(I got lucky)!

An HK P9S. I have since replaced all of the guns that I have regretted selling, which is almost all of them, and the P9S will cost me twice as much as I originally paid for it to replace it. But, replace it I will.

Had a TEC-22, Miss it for it's "coolness factor" Fun plinker, even squirrel hunted with it once , did O.K.,Also had a Ruger Redhawk in stainless .44 Mag. I'll replace it at my next oppurtunity!

An XD .45ACP tactical. I had the slide duracoated, and it shot good. Sold it to buy a rifle I don't even own anymore! I have an SA 1911 now, so I miss the XD less than I used to, but still.....

Have an Ruger GP100 I hardly ever shoot anymore, and am thinking of selling it. I do have a feeling, though, if I did.....

I have never sold a gun, but I did sort of give one as a gift/trade and I regret it. It was my first K31 rifle and I owned it for just a few hours before my neighbor tried to say the M1903 he gave me a few years previous in exchange for some work I did on his house was not a payment and was a loan :)rolleyes:). I was showing the K31 to him when he brought that up, so I just said, "here, it's yours" and gave him my new K31 to shut him up. I never even got to fire that sucker.

My second K31 turned out to be damn nice too though and shoots like a charm.

I traded off a 629 (probably a -3) for a 486 PC (how's that for a lousy trade?) I recently got a new (to me) one that has the S&W Combat grips and while I couldn't hit the side of a barn standing inside with my old one this new one is a shooter. Another plus is while searching through an old ammo box I found the original target grips plus a set of Pachmayers that I had for the old one. I used to miss the old one, but not anymore. :)

2nd Gen G19

My sister loves it, but one of these days I need to buy a new G19 and trade her for it. She doesn't care finger-groove or not.

Beretta mini cougar in .40 S&W. I purchased it from an individual before I had read about gun laws or procured a CCW.

It was a great shooter for me. Alas, I thought I might have done something illegal. I sold it back a few months later for the same price I paid. $400.

Now they are rare and more expensive. I need a hanky now :cuss:
