What guns are you drooling over right now?

I know the gun snobs will have plenty to say, but I'm a public school teacher (in the nation's most notoriously underhanded district. Can anyone guess where?) and I try to live within my means. That said, I'm looking at a RIA 1911. Bare bones to be sure, but it would be my first 1911.

Wow. I went on about my job for a minute there, didn't I... haha!

CZ Scorpion Evo 3 S1

A gun we will probably never see imported to America. It is a 20 round 9mm PDW with a 7.1" barrel and a folding stock. I would love to have this for a HD weapon. This thing probably wouldn't have enough recoil to even mention.

I feel so cheated right now.

A lever action .357 rifle.
I'm not much of a shotgun fan, but that Kel-Tec KSG looks really interesting.
AR-15
AK-74
CZ-SP01-Make a SS one, CZ!!

H&K P7, a 1911, Beretta 92FS, Smith and Wesson Model 19...etc. Of course I am a college student about a year away from being a teacher so most of these will have to wait a while. Plus, I promised my girlfriend I wouldn't do anything stupid with my money, like buying a pistol that I can't afford haha.

I'm still kind of new to firearms but have gotten the two handguns I wanted and the Mossberg 500 for HD. I'm itching for a good rifle and trying to fight the urge (I think it's common to new guys :D) to want a tactical looking cool weapon versus something practical. I got to shoot an AR-15 and like that a lot but the Garand I got to put some rounds through really impressed me.

I don't spend household money on hobbies since I already have so much invested in them. So, I've put a few of my other toys on the auction block and as soon as they're gone I guess I have to do some serious research.

Mike you're probably right haha, but as they say if she aint happy then no one's happy :D.

But at least she tolerates my interest in guns haha.

I love love to own any AK-74 clone, even the notorious CAI Tantal clone. The ammo is so cheap and I love all AK's anyway. On the handgun front, I would like for Santa to being me a Beretta Cougar or its Turkish Stoeger clone. I hae two other 9mm's but I always thought the Cougar was sexy.

My new / old Savage m1899-A, 26" round barrel, flip up front and rear tang sight, chambered in .303 savage. Serial number 11,xxx dates to 1899/1900. Barrel address " SAVAGE ARMS. CO., UTICA. N.Y., U.S.A." next line "PATENTED FEB. 7. 1893. JULY 25. 1893. CAL., 303." indicates a m1895. Maybe a transitional model? Can't wait to find some .303 savage, maybe a good excuse to start reloading.

Wow, I wasn't aware of that keltec ksg until I read this thread. That thing looks awesome. If they figure out how to make a semiauto bullpup that holds 14+1..... i'm drooling just thinking about it! Anyway, here's my list
- CZ Hammer Coach
- Kel-Tec KSG
- Remington R15 Predator (can't pick between .223 and .204)
- a Luger (historical and cool)

2 Matching Colt Single Action Armys
Browning 1886 (Because an original Winchester 1886 is too expensive)
Winchester 71
Winchester 12 Heavy Duck
Smith and Wesson 19 pinned and recessed
Smith and Wesson 29 pinned and recessed (The Dirty Harry gun)
M1 Garand
M14
Winchester 63
Winchester 1894

most of my list is cheep guns because id rather spend less and get more.

Remington 700 .223
S&W M&P15 .223
S&W M&P15-22
Phoenix arms HP22A .22
Heritage Rough rider .22lr/.22WMR
FnHerstal FNP-9 (wife)
Fnherstal FNP40
Ruger 10/22 Digital ACU

and lots more that i havent looked into yet.

My drool list is long and changes all of the time. Money seems to be the deciding factor. :p There are a few older military rifles I want. There are a few handguns I want and probably a few shotguns.

This last Sunday, I got to shoot a suppressed pistol and two full auto rifles. Now, I want some of those. :D I had forgotten how much fun it is shooting autos. :p And I have had suppressors on my wish list for years.

Unfortunately, my wife also shot the rifles. Now she wants one! My explaining the cost not only of the weapon, the tax stamp and hoops to jump through, but the food bill hasn't changed her mind. Even pointing out we shot 700 rds in the space of about 1.5 minutes (total shooting time- it really took a lot longer to load, let the rifles cool down and shoot them that, but actual trigger time wasn't all that much longer than a few minutes or so) didn't change her mind. I didn't realize she had such expensive tastes.
