I moved the scope on my .243 back a good bit, got tired of craning my neck to get the best view through it! Next did some CBTO measurements for the 90gr eldx and 90gr game changer for the .243. Decided on a 40.0-42.0gr ladder with RL-16 on for both bullets. I haven't decided how far to jump them yet, was thinking .020 or .030.... Then decapped 100pcs .308 brass, 50pcs .243 brass, and 50pcs .223 brass.

Got a call from Kim at Bart’s Bullets yesterday. She said Bart was working on my order from June for 22 caliber originals and my 6mm Gungnir Bullets.
Guess I’m gifting myself Bullets for Christmas lol.
And my new Shilen barrel is finally here. Time to get the threads cut on it.

    Hi...
Separated a couple of large coffee cans if brass from last weekend's range trip.
Loaded up three tumblers with .45AutoRim, .44Spl and .45Colt each.
    Still have to tumble .38Spl, 9mm, 10mm and .357Magnum.

I finally unboxed and setup my RCBS Chargemaster Lite last night. I've had it for 6 months or more. Still working on load development. I've got a couple boxes of small pistol magnum primers. I loaded up 2 charge weights with regular primers and again with magnum. If I get home before dark, I'll put them over the chrono and see if there is a significant difference.

I kinda kick myself for leaving the chargemaster in the box for so long. Meters the powder I'm using perfectly fine. Way faster than the beam scale and I have more confidence in it than my FA scale.

Started receiving parts--dies first--for my incoming 6mm Creedmoor rifle*.. Pulled all my 40S&W cases, dies, etc., and bundled for sale.. Now have three empty Lee 4-hole turrets.
    2020Dec01_40S&W stuff_1500w.jpg
That made of one my limited number of spaces available for 6Creed stuff.. Got the dies, a 3-piece Lee Pacesetter set plus a Forster Ultra Micrometer seating dies, installed and roughly adjusted.. Have cases (Star Line SPs), powder, a Hornady L-n-L case-prep Trio coming.. Already have enough bullets (accumulated for my 6mm ARC AR) and primers--lucky (and diligent) me. :)

    Question of time...
Spent some time checking zero on some hunting rifles and wanted to get some trigger time on the .38Spls and .45AutoRim.

Loaded 60 rounds of 7.62x54r for the local match this weekend.

I've been having trouble with my regular load: - Lee C312-185 with 16gr 2400 powder.

I'm trying something new. 24gr Buffalo Rifle (Shooters World powder) with the same Lee home cast projectile.

The Buffalo Rifle powder is apparently the old 5744, before production was moved to North America. I'm using older 5744 data, from Lyman Cast #3.

Got in the loading room, still plotting N planning some airlines. Going to get parts tomorrow. Have the air cooler ready, just need to thread some black pipe and snag some fittings. Gonna be nice.

Hogue Cocobolo #14 Smith grip came in today. Spent some quality time in there this afternoon mounting them. Pics don't do justice at all.

I couldn’t sleep after 3:30 this morning. So I rolled up the last of my 124 XTPs before I went to work.
After work, I cleaned the bench and started hauling out bits and pieces to run some batches of 7.62x39

I loaded some test 200grn .45ACP earlier this week, I didn't realize I didn't have any of my benchmark load, so I quick whipped up 50 200's over Unique.

I was setting there stewing... looking at what bullets I had left over. I had a box with 40 270grn Montana Keith .45 Colt bullets, so I checked what I had loaded... some over IMR4227, and... some over TiteGroup??? Sometimes I do some stupid stuff. I loaded those leftover bullets over 2400... just to see.

Lately in the reloading room I have had an increased feeling of accomplishment with every loaded round. At the same time I feel a tinge of guilt, knowing how expensive and hard to find ammo and components are. The guilt passes quickly though:cool:.

The guilt kicks in for me when I actually fire the round. Knowing that I just used up some unobtanium gets me every time.

A few years ago I bought a bunch of Remington Accutip 12 gauge slugs. I haven't taken a shotgun deer hunting for many years but there was a rebate bringing the cost down to $6 for a box of 5 so I bought 10 or 12 boxes.
I have been casting, loading and shooting some 1 oz Lee slugs just for fun. Since I had the rifled barrel on my 870 I grabbed an Accutip slug, hit my 150 yard 18 inch plate shooting offhand. Found out a couple days later that Accutips are bringing $35 per box of five if you can find them!!!

I walked out there in my pajamas with my cup of coffee and looked at it. Checked the thermometer. Looked at the snow on the ground. Considered firing up the heat. Changed my mind and went back to my man cave to check the High Road.
