Yeah but I am in North Carolina, granted you can be on the ski slopes in an hour from my home and those two strands of barbed wire between my house and the mountains don't block much wind from the -0 they had all day up there. This was the coldest Christmas day since 1989 when it was 5*. Good luck with your truck.

Loaded those 100 fully prepped/primed .308 cases a couple of hours ago. Gave them and the rifle to my younger son just now.

I pounded a piece of broken vacuum line out of a fitting; didn't do any loading, but I did get my truck fixed. replaced the alternator, the battery light came on on the way home in the storm Wed. night.

Nothing! Too cold in shop and heater is broken. Was 38 in shop and 25 outside. Just move to North Idaho and will have to organize the new shop for reloading. Was reloadng in the house bit no need with a new 50x55 heated / insulated shop and a 40' long bench.

Made some shelves in an unused corner for my Shotshell presses. My reloading room also doubles as my lathe/mill room (12x36 grizzly combo) and my gunsmithing room. Space is at a premium!

Discovered a poise on my beam scale was inadvertently set 5 grains lower than intended.
Trouble is, I discovered it after charging/seating six hundred 223 rounds

Sounds like my recent misadventure... reloaded 1000 rounds of 9mil with titegroup for a friend before finding out his gun doesn't shoot titegroup for ****, so I ended up pulling 1000 rounds and reloading them with HP38. It actually took far less time than I expected. Should have just shot it myself and reloaded a new batch for him, but I was running out of primers and projectiles.

Just finished putting together 100 240 grain PCLSWC in .44 Mag with 10 grains of Unique. Will try to get to the outdoor range tomorrow (supposed to snow but that won't stop me) and just have some fun shooting plate steel @ 50 yards with the RedHawks and maybe a Henry.

No targets to replace. No stopping and writing down FPS from the chrono. Just pulling the trigger, clanking swinging steel and drinking some hot coffee and occasionally walking down the line to see what folks brought....after shooting my second favorite thing to do at a public range.

    In production:

Think these came from a Lyman or Lee mold:

    Finished product looks like lipstick:

Will take the 100 I put together a couple of weeks ago along as well. That should make for a decent session until I either empty the thermos of coffee or run out of ammo.

I was way behind sorting range brass from the last several months or so, spent two chilly hours in the shed sorting them out. Some .308, maybe 100 Greek .30-06, some 9MM, a few LP .45 ACP, two thirds plus of a 5 gallon bucket of .223.

Sorry, can't get myself to hit the like button on those posts...
    I think we've all BTDT!!!:( I have.....

Anyways, today I finished 300 of 400 reloadings of .44 Rem. Mag.
I didn't cast enough this past Fall, so I put the 100 primed cases in storage. ( I do not think they will spoil anytime soon;) ) I have 50 bullets left and also found these today way back in the antiquated storage space...( A.S.S. for short)

240 grain but needs lube. I can make these work sometime later this Winter!

Re-sized 200 Winchester LP, 150 Blazer SP and 50 Browning LP ( No, that's not Arabic, it's the Buckmark:) ) in 45 ACP.

Resizing 45 ACP today, ran across this. Talk about a TIGHT primer pocket, this was a winner! ;)
To the recycle bucket it goes....

Got closer to finally loading my first rounds. Learned what I was doing wrong the day before. Was able to get my OL set on some dummy rounds.Plunked, mag loaded ok, chambered, and ejected as it should. Crimp is pretty close, will fine tune that on the dummy rounds. Went to prime 50 9mm cases, ended up with about 44. 1st one didn't seat fully. Had few other primers that flipped going into the Lyman auto primer cup,(some times more than one fell out of it, need to fine tune that) I did not catch it at first and a few went in sideways as well. I have some LED light strips I will be installing on my press as I realized I could use more lighting. May go back in tonight and get my crimp set.
