My order for some Sierra 110gr HP'S came today. Loaded 6 bullets to chrono this weekend. Trying to load something my wife can handle for SD in the house for her J-frame.

Had the day off today. It's been quite cold here as it is everywhere but today it went into the high 50s. The humidity in my garage is about 287%, everything is damp.

OK, I actually need some ammo so tomorrow hopefully will get to it. Today, I started a project where I'm taking 38 special brass and trimming it to simulate either 38 long colt or 38 short colt. I'm starting at a compromise between the two, .845 length. My plan is to load about 100 rounds with 3.4g Titegroup using a 147g plated RN Xtreme bullet. What I want is a round that will fit my 38 special moon clips but is shorter than 38 special for quick reloads on falling steel and ICORE Limited 6. So I have about 150 pcs trimmed, chamfered and deburred that is what I did today.

Put the 300 or so 9mm cases from this morning's range exercise into the "to be tumbled" jug, cleaned shooting gear, eyeballed the 9mm teed up at the Dillon, left the room and turned out the lights.

    Nap Time..
    Reload mañana...

Learning how to cast a 310 gr 38-55 bullet maintaining constant mold temp and melt temp therefore ensuring the same bullet weight. Ever put together a PID? IMG_0745.JPG

Loaded test rounds with the tumbled .40 brass. Now I'm watching the Patriots beat up on the Titans. It's over, the time just hasn't run out.

Sorted some range pick up brass. Some 45 ACP, 9MM, 38 Spcl, a few 45 Colt and 32 ACP. Tumbled the 45s, 38s, 9MM is running now.
Sorted three coffee "cans" full 45 ACP by head stamp, why? I don't know. But it's done now.
Have to load 9MM and 45 ACP this weekend.

about to load some 45 Colts with 180 grain MBC's with 7 grains of Trail Boss. I have loaded many 45 Colts before but always used Unique, this will be my first use of Trail Boss. I will load six test rounds for my BlackHawk and shoot 'em before doing more.

Trailboss is a BLAST in 45LC, 300Bklout, just about any load. I've used it in 45LC, 45ACP, 308, 30-30, 38Short, 38 Spec, all with good luck. If you aregoing for Subsonic, you have the correct powder.

    Just my $0.02
    Good Luck

My 6 test loads of 45 Colt went so well, I loaded another 50 and shot all them too. You are right, what a blast. With the 180 grain bullets, the recoil isn't much more snappy than 38 specials in my 357 mag S&W 686.

Took my 44mag test loads to the indoor range to test, glad I have a friend with a Labradar (nothing in front of the firing line). Anyway the RO was a great guy, he was sweeping the spent brass to a place where I could collect it before I left. I walked out with about 20lbs of brass. Mostly 9mm, but also some 45, 223, 380, and 40. When I got back, I sorted all the brass and decapped it.

I finally dusted off the 550B and got to work on 9mm loads for a class in March. I've gotta have 1200 (maybe more) ready to go. I'm 100 short after 3 days of loading. Tomorrow, I'll probably load 300-400 more just to be sure.

Shot this video introduction to the Lee Pro 1000, pros/cons/tips. Long and boring but some tyros may find it useful.

Reloaded the .40 cases again, going to the range after work. Down to two powders, Silhouette and BE-86.

I sized, trimmed, primed and loaded about 70 pieces of 223rem with 55gr V max and reworked some loads with benchmark at different OAL to see if i can squeeze anymore accuracy out of it. Loaded 25rds of 50gr V max with benchmark the same way to see how it reacts. Tonight i will load some with my good loads of H322 and see how it goes with a different OAL and then i will try cci 400 primers instead of cci 450 primers.

I recently moved my bench to another room, so I spent some time organizing things. Then resized a bunch of 30-40 Krag brass.
