Finished off the last of my WSR primers in 55 grain 223 loads for my 20” barrel rifle. I have a few to spare now and can enjoy shooting it without the cringe that comes with each trigger pull. You think a flinch is tough to get rid of, try a cringe with every shot.

Loaded up some more 3X fired 6 Dasher cases (6 BR based) for the next one day PRS match. (Load # 15) I loaded 10 extra to check zero and get velocities again.

I also loaded up nine Berger 108 Gr Match BT Target bullets I picked up from Brunos (Can't find any 105 Hybrids) 3 each at 32.2, 32.3, & 32.4 Grs RL-15 with CCI-450 primers. I'll most likely shoot them tomorrow after work.

Does anyone else use a box end wrench on their dies when they get tight to get them out. Feel like a clown using a huuuge wrench but I have it and it works.

I have box end wrenches that will fit but I use a crescent wrench because it’s hanging up next to my press. I guess you can call it lazy to walk 2 ft to the tool box and grab a real wrench.

I just snugged them up before I got the bushing style LNL, checked every once in a while to be sure they were still snug.

I watch casting videos when I size cases because I use a 20 second dwell time in the die. This was for range brass so I wanted the most consistant reforming of the case. It takes forever doing it that way. Anyhow I saw a guy using channel locks and it gave me the creeps.

Decapped the 99 9mm cases I recovered at the range yesterday AM. Mostly mine, but also a few from fellow shooters.

Cleaned primer pockets and gauge fit them all. The dozen or so which didn’t drop in and out easily, I Makaroved ‘em. (Makarov as a verb.)

I use an RCBS die wrench. It fits the die lock ring. It is black oxided steel with a loop on it to hang it up and use as a handle.

How has the SW tactical rifle been working in the 60ish gr .223 range? Similar to TAC? I've been curious about SW AR Plus and Tactical Rifle

I really don't know for sure yet. I worked up loads for both but don't have much data because my chronograph shot craps on me a month ago. Accuracy looks promising . The powder burns very clean. These loads are to test for accuracy in four more rifles.

I found some powder and primers and was thinking of trying the RMR 69 gr HPBT. I’ll keep an eye here and see how they do.
