Sized and trimmed 40 GFL .308 cases and 50 LC19 .223 cases. The carbide Lyman cutter head is a WHOLE lot faster than the HSS ones! I also Sized some 6.5 CM cases, I'll trim em tomorrow while the charge master warms up for loading RL15 in the .308 & .223.

Organized my main reloading room and took inventory of bullets/primer/powder . Gives me one clean room , shuffled the excess to another reloading room and shut the door . I would hate to get too organized all in one day , I would not be able to find anything .

It’s a work night, so not much was accomplished. Sized and trimmed a bunch more 45-70 brass, unloaded the 44 mag from the tumbler and loaded it back up with 40 S&W.

I loaded some .270 Winchester and .30-06 over the weekend. Of the R-P, Winchester, and FC brass, FC was definitely the best to work with.

Saturday afternoon I started working on cleaning the barrel of my 1903a3 I got at CMP last January. That is easily the dirtiest bore I've ever tried to clean. I went to bed last night hoping that the patches were starting to run clean. I might have been lying to myself, though. I wish I had started with something more aggressive than Hoppe's #9, though.

I started processing some .300 BO night before last. Quickly relearned the lesson that I really don't like swaging or reaming primer pockets.

Cleaned up (out) an old Lyman 45 lube/sizer. Some unidentified tan lube in it, I have no idea what it was. 10 minutes with a heat gun, and the old lube is a reductant for the next pot o' lead.
    P1010392.JPG

Still trying to decide which lube to put in it. I have some LS Stuff Blue Carnuba, some 2500+, some BAC, or maybe I should just go old school and get some NRA 50/50 (or, at least todays version of it...).

Today’s tasks, unloaded the 40 S&W out of the tumbler and put the sized 45-70 back in to remove the lube. Sized, primed and loaded 30 test rounds of 40 S&W 165gr. Berry’s over Ramshot Competition. About to work up some more 45-70 plinkers, 300gr cast over Unique. After that, I’m getting everything ready for the range tomorrow.

Boxed up some 9mm loads from a week ago. Primed, charged and loaded some random 9mm cases , while more 9mm brass tumble away. Wanting to use up the remaining Rem 1 1/2's and CFEP that I have open. Put away the powder(more CFEP lol) , bullets, and ammo that I've bought over the past week and realize. I do not need any more pistol powder for the rest of my life. Unless I get a Dillon lol.

Trimmed the 6.5 CM brass I sized yesterday while the chargemaster was warming up. Then primed and loaded the 40 168ELDMs I had left with RL15 in .308. Primed and loaded 50 .223 with RL15 and 77ncc's. I have enough RL15 left to do about 25 RL15/77NCC loads, so I think I'll do them in mixed year LC brass and see how they compare to LC19 loads. Last I loaded up a ladder with 147ELDM/RL16 in 6.5CM.

I spent some time today finding the lands for 13(12 jacketed,1 cast) different bullets in my latest parts gun , .308 heavy barrel Remington 700 . I used the "stripped bolt " method ,cruised right along . That does not always happen ,sometimes the OCD messes with me bad . This is just a fun gun/loaner , I mostly built it for another heavy barreled gun for shooting cast , I did the same with a .270 and it's fun to shoot and very accurate .

Sized, trimmed, primed, and loaded 25 .223 with mixed year LC brass, RL15 & 77gr NCC's. Ran myself out of RL15 just when I was starting to like it! From my couple lbs of experience with both, RL15 and N140 seem to run very similar charge weights in my .308 & .223, and I like em both!

Loaded 50 9mm Winchester 124gr FMJ with 4.2gr of W231 and Blazer brass. This is my main plinking load right now.

I used a Noe Bullets .357 x .353 (P) Exp. Plug Auto Pistol expander. Seating is as smooth as silk. I originally got the 358x354 size for coated lead 9mm; liked it got the 357/353 to use with jacketed.

Spent the last couple days insulating an addition ( walls and ceiling) in 96-98* temperatures.
Now maybe I can get some ammo built on my newly tuned 10-10

Not much, been battling a migraine. Took a load of 50 AE out of the tumbler and put another load of the same back in.

Loaded 10mm 200gr coated lead bullets with Longshot at different charge weights to test out. Then loaded the rest of the brass in the tray with 180gr Berry's with Longshot for target loads.

Worked on setting up my Lee Loadmaster for 9mm. Still waiting on some parts from Lee, but was able to make a slide rod for the bullet feeder today out of a shower curtain hook. The JB Weld on the case feeder rod did not hold up (one of the parts on order, but hey, why not try and fix it?). Organized a few things.

On the 3 hole classic turret press, I made 200 test shots in 9x19mm.
50 pieces whit a RN copper plated 125grn bullet from rg bullets, spain. Cal. 355
I got them to work in my CZ Shadow 1, but still whit a couple of flyers. The bullet is not well made by my standards. It's only the right size at the base of the bullet. And that triggers the requirement of a extremely tight barrel. My CZ has a cal. 355 and get the most them flying nicely, but the last 1% is flying well because of very little of the bullet is actually cal. 355, and I can measure that not all bullets are big enough, but no one bigger. All small or to small.
I have around 3000 of this bullet so now I just load it up and use them for pinkers.

And now to the happy news. I was also loading up 150 testers whit a bullet from http://alsapro.cz/
    I got a bag of 500 pieces cal. 355 FMJ 124grn.

Made a load whit Magtech small pistol primer, and Vitavauri 3N37. Powderload see manual, I was around maximum load. Where it just worked I my gun. But then it was like shooting a laser. No flyers and group's only opened up when I speed up.

So now all I need is to make a large ordre of Alsa Pro bullets and start making good ammo.

    End for rambling.

@Tonny99DK - I certainly enjoy hearing from our "not in North America" members. It's a completely different environment for our sport/hobby.

Nothing much this morning. Gotta work tonight. Took a load of 45 ACP out of the tumbler and put a load of 308 in. Sorted the 45 (about 500) by primer size….. Whoever decided to start putting small primers in them should be horse whipped!

Last night I started prepping some new Alpha brass in 6mm GT. Ran 50 through a FL die then tumbled the lube off them. Still need to check length and chamfer.

Got the old Lyman 45 mounted an a piece of lumber. I'll keep it this way to make it mobile. My 'bench' is tiny compared to most, and I cannot have more than one tool on it at a time.
I had to drill out the mount holes; couldn't fit a 1/4" bolt through there.
    P1010395.JPG

I've just about decided to fill it with LS Stuff Blue Carnuba.
