This morning I sorted a nearly full 5 gallon bucket of wheelweights. After lunch I loaded up a bunch of scrap for a scrap yard run, maybe tomorrow. Buckets of Steel and Zinc wheelweights, wheelweight clips from our last smelting session and some scrap brass.

A buddy saw me loading a bucket of weights at the local tire shop several months ago and walked over to help me. He started asking about what I did with them and then said his Dad had left several buckets out at their barn and offered them to be. Well right before trick-or-treat time last night he dropped off a bucket. These were older weights and extremely dusty. Dusty like things get when left in a barn. The were 100% lead weights! :)

    Hi...
Spent a couple if hours in the reloading room today.
Resized, deprimed and flared 200 pieces of .44Spl brass on my RockChucker
Then I used my RCBS APS bench mounted priming tool to prime them with Federal large pistol primers. Planned load is 6.6gr of Unique with a 240gr LSWC for my Uberti SAA clone and Taurus DA revolver.

Also have 100 pieces of .44Spl brass processed and ready to load with Ruger Only loads (7.5gr of Unique under a 240gr LSWC)for my flat top BlackHawks.

I loaded up 12 rounds of .220 swift 6 with 41 grains of H380 powder that gave me a 1.5" group at 200 and another 6 that gave me a two inch group at 200. I was using some winchester ballistic silvertip in 50 grains. I will probably fill 100 cases of the 41 grain charge it will let my barrel life continue longer.

I preped a few 44 mag cases and a bunch of 357 cases. All I need to do is add powder and bullets when needed.

Been long enough since I last reloaded that I wasn't exactly sure of what type / quantity of 6.5 CM projectiles I had in stock.
Dug around in my stash and smiled a BIG smile when I discovered "I'm duly equipped for multiple scenario's"

Sorted and put away the brass I tumbled yesterday. Then loaded a N140/155bthp ladder in .308, and a 8208XBR/73Berger ladder in .223. I'll load the same bullets with AR Comp tomorrow night.

I assume you use those for hunting. Do you like those better than the 90gr Speer GD's?

I get better accuracy from the 115 grain. I use both the 115 grain GD and the 120 grain SST for deer hunting. Midway had a sale of the 115 gr a few years back, and I bought a bunch. I got an even bigger bunch of the 90 grain GD when RMR had them for sale. LOL

Primed and loaded AR Comp with 155 bthps in .308 and 73gr Berger BT Target in .223. Only thing I have left is to load up what I have left of prepped 6.5 CM brass!

Loaded 275 .45 Colt for the H&R Handi... 200 over IMR4227, 75 over Unique, 255grn cast Keith. My ladder testing with IMR4227 turned out nice results... 21grn IMR4227 gave me a cleaner burn and good accuracy not only in the H&R, but the Vaquero... which was a nice bonus... over the previous starting load of 20grn. Loaded up the rest of the .45 Colt brass I had, using up nearly all of my boolits.

The first thing I do is empty the dehumidifier, check the chair for stray kitties then wonder which way to go. Any more I usually wind up inspecting the insides of my eyelids for light leaks. That was accomplished without interference. Then I began searching for a low velocity load of a 100 grn MBC RNFP a smidgen of Unique in a Fed 327 mag case. Apparently the 327 is not loaded slow. Could one just seat a bullet deeper in the case to create a 32 S&W long level loading thereby avoiding the potential of a small powder charge/large case detonation. My question is theoretical, am I going to turn my new SingleSeven into a pile of pieces? It is all merely a Large WHAT IF. I have primers, powder, bullets, but no dies.
Y'all have a good day, See Ya

The base of the bullet determines internal capacity, so yes. Same can be done seating, long turning a 38 into a 357 with the load to match.
