I designed and printed a slide and drop tube for .45 to be used on the bullet feeder for my Star Lubesizer.
I'm not a CAD guy in the least.

I have some of the TW brass in 9mm. What does TW stand for?

Twin City, I found it and the specs for it. Think I'll ditch this stuff. I have it in 9mm and 5.56. I'll give it to my buddy who makes hunting Christmas wreaths out of our brass discards.

Correction, 9mm was TM not TW. Still ditching it.

I thought I had moved all my bullets, but found these in a back bottom of the safe, put them there for ballast years ago. 919F95A5-B39A-453B-A191-0A0CB13E480E.jpeg

If it's not touching your good to go, leave it be. Be interesting if the the 6mm Arc lives up to the hype.

I would be very interesting in talking with you about the 6mm ARC. I am currently debating with my self as to chambering my Savage build in either a 6mm ARC or a 6mm BR Norma. From information I have read in the Hornady manual when loaded for a bolt gun there is not much difference.

Prepping brass for the production run of 223 using 52 grain Barnes Match Burners and H335. I doubt I’ll buy any more but I’m sure gonna load what I have, especially since the best load grouped under 1.5” from my 20” barrel with iron sights ( the intended rifle for this load).

I also started prepping half a dozen 30-30 cases for more experiments with cast bullets.

Loaded the last of my prepped .223 brass with CFE223 and Hornady 55gr FMJ, just in case Putin decides to invade here next... :p Actually, just because I only had 51 pieces left, everything else was done during the winter.

Tested loads for my 223 AR today, here are my results, setup progressive press to start loading, not sure what I should expect out of this gun and will do more testing once weather gets better.

Deprimed the brass from my range trip today. Also deburred the flash holes on the 6mm ARC brass.

25.0 N140/73eldms shot right under an inch, 2704fps es9/sd3. 25.2 shot right in there too, 2729fps es33/sd11, but had a few with ejector swipes. Gonna load up the rest of my 73 ELDM's with 25.0 N140.

The new 6mm ARC shot well after their recommended break in. There's almost no recoil, I feel it's in line with my 20" .223 AR. The first 5 shot group with the factory 108 ELDM's after break in was just under 1" at 100 yds, then I shot a 7 shot group that was just under 1" as well. A little slower than I expected at 2700 fps, but there's only 40 rounds down the tube. I took it out to the 805 yd plate and went 4 for 5, only missing the first shot where I dialed 24moa instead of 23moa. I still need to get the gas block dialed in, I had it all the way out on "bleed off" mode and it was still locking the bolt open, so I'll try to tune it with restrictive mode next outing.

Shoot me a pm and I'll try to help you with anything I can!

Put together 100-44 Magnums with 240gr XTP’s & 150-50AE 300gr Flat points & JHP. Seemed like it took a pound of powder to load ‘em up-did the math, 7,225 grains of powder used.

Set up my new Lee factory crimp 300blk die. Crimping with the seating die was collapsing some shoulders, even just removing flare.
Loaded a test run with Unique and MBC 115 coated RN @1.180”.
    6 @ 3.5 grains
    9 @ 4.0
    6 @ 4.5 (50% load density)
I have plenty of Trail Boss, but I thought I would give Unique a spin.

Pulled the T-7 off the bench and put the BL 550 back on for 9mm.
Loaded Blazer brass with Fed 100 primers and loads of 5.2 and 5.4 grains Unique under 124 grain Gold Dot bullets @ 1.120”.

    All Unique loads were weighed.

Next up some 9mm practice loads with Xtreme plated 124 FP and W231.

Loaded up some test rounds of 40S&W ACME 180gr coated RNFPs over WSF. Also primed some 9mm brass for some test rounds that I'll load up sometime this coming week.
