Dumped another batch of .45acp out of the tumbler. I always forget how much faster new walnut media shines up brass…

And this is exactly why I PC. My dad has all that stuff back at home, but the cost is to much for my liking. If your shooting cowboy it does look way more period than blue and hot pink....

Just finished priming 400 556 cases, only 1200 more to go. I'll likely finish loading these first though I have 2 range trips take this upcoming weekend.

Finshed processing range pick ups. And sized and trimed and primed my 30.06 brass from the other day. I picked up a new tool box for in the loading/gun room too. I had stuff in plastic drawers. The weight was pushing them off track.

I bought it for the sizing, gas checking aspect, with the lubing process as an optional bonus. A PC setup is next in line.

Sized and trimmed 15 .243 cases then checked the fit of the 95nbt with my other seating stem. Not great, I may have to do the JB Weld trick.

You'll have to save a pile for that... PC will cost you 20 dollars for powder. And a roadside pickup toaster oven... I consider it a financial flex ;)

Prepped my first twice fired brass for 223. Sized and primed 20 pieces for testing Shooters World AR Plus and 69 grain RMR bullets. I messed up and used CCI SRP 400 instead of the #41 I intended.

You should be able to swap primers out as long as they are that same basic type such as small rifle and small rifle magnum. However, some harder to ignite powders will generally work better with magnum primers. Im of the camp of trying to only get magnum primers but sometimes you have to get "normal" ones, especially with the past two years of primer scarcity...

If it gets 400 degrees and holds temp I can't imagine a problem other than contamination

I think I got the last of my stuff unpacked and mostly put away. Our former housekeeper came over today and I put Her to work. Several of the boxes were hunting cloths and my Deer Camp bedding and She hung the clothes up and put the other stuff on shelves. I've got my brass supply mostly organized, the new brass organized, the Powder and Primers organized. I pretty much spent the day in there.

I'm loading some .38 special 157 gr Matt's Bullets wadcutters. 3.4 gr of 700x. I shot some yesterday and was really impressed with the accuracy from my S&W model 19. These will be my competition ammo and will also live in my wife's model 36.

Went to the LGS (two counties East) and bought some plastic hard cases for my Ruger single actions. The soft cases and original cardboard are holding too much moisture. Other than that just looking around at what a mess the store room is getting ready to do repairs.

My former housekeeper was back this morning for a half a day. We finished (fingers crossed) up my new room except for hanging pictures and animal heads. I'm going to do some thinking before I start making holes in the wall!

Just to get some of my sweat equity back I did deprime a few hundred 38's that I found during the move! ;)

The owners are old friends and I don’t get many chances to just stop by to chat. Today was a good day for that. Besides I kinda wanted to get my hands on a Taurus 856. There’s been some threads about them and I wanted to get a little more info so I stopped by and checked one out. Nicer than I figured. Kinda want one now. Don’t need it just want it.

Nice! $329 on academy's website, so not bad... I guess it's designed as a "get off me" type gun as the 2in barrel and 38spl 158gr LRN isn't exactly gonna feel good when a bad guy is in it's way...

Deprimed the .223 brass from my range trip with the new barrel and zeroed the back up iron sights and the 1.5x16 ACOG that I won(first giveaway I have ever won!). Also scored a ton of 9mm and 45 ACP range brass.
