What have you done in the reloading room today

Yet more 9mm for the 1911.

150 SNS 147gr lead flat point, 3.2gr Titegroup, 1.140".
Trying to use them up- not as accurate as I would like and make my barrel dirty.

14 Missouri 125gr SWC, 3.8gr Titegroup, 1.115"
I really like these. Neat little holes and surprisingly accurate. Easy to clean and not too expensive.

The XTPs are leftovers... different loading day and different gun.
I wish they weren't so expensive- they work great in all my pistols.

Deprimed the brass from my range trip this morning, then swaged the crimped .223 range brass I picked up.

154 interbond seating depth ladder was interesting. 2.675 and 2.680 both shot a little over 1", then 2.685 and 2.690 both shot at about 2"(oof!) and the poi moved, Then 2.695 was a 3 hole touching cloverleaf...I'm going to load some at 2.695 and 2.700 cbto, which is about as long(~3.355-2.360 oal) as I'm comfortable feeding from the magazine in my 7mm Rem Mag.

I took the last 20 of the 75bthp over a new lot of TAC I have loaded and shot a group in my 20" AR with it. All 20 stayed within the 2" bullseye. I'm very happy with that, and I know the rifle can do it, I'm actually decently impressed with my shooting for the 20 rounds. Now to load up a bunch more!

Very interesting indeed... Let us know how the extended COAL goes!!

Rare Saturday off was taken advantage of. Got a good old friend coming by tomorrow to have a session with his new piece, of course I had to make sure I have more than enough ammo for play time. Put together some lighter 357s, some 44 Specials, and a few extra 40s just for the occasion. I may test some more Casuals tomorrow after he leaves, so I loaded up a ladder with #5 and those 245 coated swc.
Been farming so haven't had the time to get much more of that testing done, let alone pull the handles on them presses. But we got some time in today

I sized another big group of 223 and started tumbling them, after answering a couple reloading questions from son in Texas I started getting him some 30-06 brass ready for him, he was having issues with crimped primers and trimming his. So I told him I will send him a couple hundred or so all ready for primers and powder, he was a happy camper. He has to do all brass work with manual tools and I can get it done in 1/5 the time and with less labor.

I was going to prime them too but figured the shipping would be a pain, I usually send him packages in a usps flat rate box and legally I think I have to use ground only, so when he comes for Xmas I will give him the rest of my large rifle primers cause I don't believe I have too many I reload for that use LRP's. I'll have to look but I've got a bunch of time to do that.

For some reason that I can't comprehend, you should be able to send primed brass just fine with no hazmat, but primers by themselves are haz mat? This is not something I'd take with a grain of salt so I'd check with UPS first. Anyway I'll leave it at that since we aren't a chat room  I myself need to prime some 30-06...

Ended up with like 90 of those cases! So Ive got to figure out what to load them as... I've got a fair amount of Hornady 150gr fmjbt-165gr sp-180gr sp-208gr eldm bullets to choose from and 220gr Sierra MatchKings... I also have 50 new Starline and 50 new Hornady 30-06 primed cases as well. Sorry I know, not a chat room...

Sized, deprimed, trimmed and wet tumbled with pins a few hundred 6.5CM brass. Wet tumbled with pins 1000+ 9mm.

Installed the Mr. Bulletfeeder conversion on my Dillon RL1100 to go from 9mm to .223. Works well, but will sometimes jam up at the limit switch. I'm assuming it's because I'm using small bullets (52gr SMK's). Will run some 69gr SMK's and 75gr Hornady through it soon to see if it changes. Tapping on the side of where it jams clears it up.

Loaded some 30-30 WCF, been a while.
Fl sized with no button, neck sized separately to help reduce case stretch, no expansion/flare, no crimp.
RP brass, WLR primers, 21.0 grains H4198, 110 grain Sierra RNSP carbine bullet @ 2.395”.

Switched over to 9mm Luger.
Blazer brass, CCI 500 primers, 3.8 grains Bullseye, SNS 125 grain coated RN @ 1.080”.

The 30-30 loads were a little disappointing at the range, shooting around 3” at 30 yards (open sights, rested).
Normally my Handi rifle does a lot better, It shoots factory 150s and cast 115 LRN subsonic as well as you can hold. I hope it does better with my 110 Varmageddons.
Oh well, anything my Handi rifle doesn’t like my Rem 700 in 300 BLK will happily digest.

Cleaning, sorting 9mm, 300 BLK and 30-30 brass.

Getting set up for more 30-30 with Trail Boss and coated 115 LRN, a proven load to get back on track with the Handi. I had almost forgotten what a great little rifle it is.
