What have you done in the reloading room today

What powder measure & trickler is that? Does it work well? I have been trickling charges since 1972 but I am getting tired of it, especially when loading match ammo that takes a lot more rounds.
That looks like the Redding br in a Lyman stand. And the trickler looks like an auto trickler: maybe version 2? Linked to the A&D’s fx120 scale… I know you didn’t ask me. Lol

Loaded up 20- 9mm with Servicios y Aventuras Small Pistol Primers, True Blue powder and mixed brass. This is the first time I've tried these primers ( I've got 2K). Shot them through a striker fired Springfield XDS. All went BOOM on the first try. Not scientific but they seemed to be a little hotter than Fiocchi, Genix, Murom and CCI. Brass came out very clean. YMMV. This was the green and yellow boxed primers, not the white box.

Tossed the 2 dozen .45-70 cases I cut down last week into the wet tumbler with a bit of Lemi-Shine, a drop of Ultra Dawn and 1 oz. of FA brass cleaner with the SS pins and turned it on for a nice long tumble while I find other things to do. Hopefully it will clean the primer pockets for me as in the past. I hate cleaning primer pockets, even with my RCBS case prep center.

Gotta tell ya, fellers...this Lyman brass/media separator is the cat's pajamas! Stack the baskets inside each other, dump the cases and media in and shake, and all those little pins go to the screened basket leaving the cases in the inner basket. Load the cases into one tray in your dryer, the pins in another (lined with nylon window screen) and switch on the dryer. Cases are done in about 15 minutes, pins take a little longer. No muss, no fuss, no lost pins down the laundry sink.

Got up really early this morning and finished the case prep of the military 223 FC cases and they are now cleaned and in the dryer. I will hand prime them all to verify the primer pockets are good to go. I believe it is somewhere a little over 5-600 cases. I will say I am happy with the LNL AP swage setup so far. I will be going to HD or Runnings to get some clear tubing and a hose clamp for the stripper die so it is one less action I need to be involved in.

I think I can hear the gears from here…!!

Oh, there is probably a few of us that learned about the 9mm sensitivity to OAL and other variations the hard way...

Loaded the last of my imr-4227 in 45c

Well, this is a sad day, indeed...

I'll let you know how my AA4100 does... ;) I picked up my last 8# of IMR4227 for just under $300, out the door, but those days are likely long gone... so this jug will prolly be my last.
