Just loaded up a batch of 77gr smk's over 24.1gr RL15 in new lake city brass to test the precision of the new scope and load. Pretty stoked to have the build done after a year and a half of slaving away at work!
Ha Ha! I noticed that too!In flip-flops?
Even with the label ... that Dillon blue box is the last place I would look for Hornady LNL bushings. You're upsetting the natural order of things.Always keep a few extra around, enough for a new set of dies minimum.........nothing worse than needing them and everyone is out. Lock rings too.

Working on converting the LNL to small primers... for the 9mm. Took the rough edges off the primer shuttle with some emery cloth... only then did I realize the little wheel on it (and you LNL users know what I'm talking about...) is fused in place. I'm guessing the previous owner reglued the pin... and got the wheel pivot as well. Looks like another order to Midway...
It should work well enough, assuming I get my LNL bushings sometime this century... at least enough to set my dies and get everything working.
I was thinking of getting a .357 SIG and loading for it, but you guys have convinced me it's nothing but a hassle, especially at my stage of life. My Super 38s will have to suffice!Horskinator, I've been loading 357sig for quite a while, when I started Dillon was the only carbide set I could buy, and not inexpensive! When Lee came out with a crimp die, I bought one, as the seated bullet could be pushed into the case with little pressure. The Lee collet still didn't crimp tight enough, so my friend Pete machined a little more off it, and I have had no problems since! As for accuracy, I shot it for years with a USPSA club, and it is acceptable, I quit using jacketed bullets when I got a GC mold from Accurate Molds.
Call Hornady, they'll send it to you for free.Working on converting the LNL to small primers... for the 9mm. It’s an old Midway box, just happens they made them blueEven with the label ... that Dillon blue box is the last place I would look for Hornady LNL bushings. You're upsetting the natural order of things.
I love that! You're upsetting the natural order of things.
Just finished loading a box of .40 S&W. It's my favorite handgun caliber because I like "snappy"!!
Kool….I have not loaded 40 S&W in quite a while. I have a S&W Sigma in that caliber that I have stashed for home defense, but never seem to shoot it at the range. I thought it was my only gun chambered for that caliber. But then I remembered after reading your post that I have another. Last year, I got a plethora of barrels in various calibers for my Bond Arms Roughneck Derringer, including a 40 S&W barrel, I have never shot that caliber in the Derringer, so this gives me an excuse to load some 40 SW and get to the range with those two handguns. Thanks for the inspiration.
I love the bark and flash of Power Pistol especially in 40 and 357 but I like them loud.Seriously. I hate the bark of PP..
I promise not to buy any and leave the supply full for you...I love the bark and flash of Power Pistol especially in 40 and 357
If the supply of Alliant ever comes back leave a keg for me. But Long Shot is a dam good replacementI promise not to buy any and leave the supply full for you...

Be interesting to hear how that Bond likes those .40’s……
