What is fair price for .22LR ammo

Hi all, what would be a fair price to pay for 22LR from a friend? Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!!!

In Southeast Virginia it is harder to find weekly. For cheaper bulk ammo, expect to pay $35-60 for a bulk 500rnd pack.

I do not know if the “panic” psychology is waning, I was lucky or both. I was in Cabelas yesterday and bought Federal .223 55 grain 20 count ($10.99), S&B 115 9mm 50 count ($13.99) and .22 CCI 100 count ($7.99). I thought the pricing was OK but what was interesting was that there was plenty of it and the ammo aisle was empty of other shoppers BUT, the store was very busy. There was signage limiting “2 boxes per customer per caliber” - my wife and I both took advantage of the limit - hopefully waning, maybe lucky?????

Man- what state are you in? Very fortunate.

What’s funny is the bulk stuff is turning out to be not all that bad and am happy to find it
Saving the Eley and CCI for a sunny day!

CCI is my favorite go to paper or hunting ammo. Other stuff for plinking or training others. I also share with friends that don't have any.
