My father-in-law"s girlfriend just brought me a Winchester Model 52 22 long rifle single shot rifle. It's a bolt action with adjustable sights. It has sling mounts on the fore stock and the butt. The butt also has the number "15" stamped in it. The serial # is 20573. It looks like its about 90% condition. Can anyone tell me anything about this rifle and what it's worth?
Correction, I just discovered it has a 5 shot? magazine. It has a pop up sight like the rifle used in "Quigley Down Under"

Prices vary but I see them listed for between ~$500 and ~$2000 on Gun Broker. Quite a range but the lower priced rifles don't seem to be 90% either. I think $800 would be a ball park value based on what you've listed but I'm sure a Winchester collector will come along and provide more insight.
