what is the cheapest pump 18-20 inch 12 gauge you can buy?

I've never owned anything but Mossberg 500 series pump guns. many have had hundreds, if not thousand of rounds through them. Around $200 for anew HD type, but used ones can be had had for $100 or so. Don't be afraid of a used one, and many of mine were purchased used, and never had a problem.

Hundreds? I'll shove "hundreds" of rounds through my Mossberg on a single weekend. It ain't quit ticking yet.

Found a like new 18" barrel Maverick with synthetic stock at a gun store for $119 last year. Shoots good, but full power slugs/buckshot loads kick hard.
