Update, the first person to swap the safety for decocker did it under two minutes. Another individual involved in the process who hates poly sidearms stated it felt/handled better than any poly sidearm he had handled to date, and it's now on his short list to aquire. :)

As I said on the phone.

CZ-USA is already advertising them.

Newest issue of Shooting Times has a small advertisement for the P-07 Duty and SP-01 Phantom.

I believe the Duty also has the interchanging back-strap like the Phantom does.

The original CZ75 P01 looks way better in my humble opinion. I like the cleaner lines of the P01. Also, I heard of weak extractors in CZs (mostly on the internet), but haven't had FTEs in any of my 3 CZs.

best regards,

Luis Leon

Mostly a batch of 75B extractor springs a few years ago.

Otherwise, the guns put out right now are perking along nicely.

Nope. Keep it locked in the safe at night so it won't ugly away in the dark.
However being a cZ, it will likely be a fine shooting pistol.

I thought I was losing it. Several guys commented on how great that thing looks. It looks like an amateurish attempt. Plastic isn't like steel that needs a lot of machining, you can make it any shape you want. Why did they make it so blocky and unfinished looking. I like CZz a lot but I can't get excited about this one.

It seems like a step backwards from the P-01 Phantom. Looks very finished, nicely contoured, less bulky. What is the advantage to the P-07?

Less expensive to make and lighter frame. Neither of which are important to me. I'll stick with my PCR and 75B.

Agreed, but then again, I don't think there is a pistol made that looks as good as the P01.

No failures to extract out of my two, ever.

The P-07 does look cool in its own right. I am curious - hope to get my hands on one.

another advantage is that the SP-01 phantom is a full size gun, the the P-07 is a semi-compact, like the P-01. I also like the looks of the P-01 better, but if the P-07 is lighter and slimmer I might choose it over the P-01

YEah, another company is called CZ, but it's not "Ceska Zbrojovka"

Glad my cz doesn't look like that 2000.....
Maybe if it shot lasers.....

Cool concept for slide serrations.... And that's all I like

Some people say interchanging backstrap like the Phantom, some don't.

We will have to see what the final version is that is imported.

Backstrap doesn't make much different to me. The gun is a
CZ and will fit me quite well.

While the Duty is new and exciting, and I'm glad to see CZUB jump into the polymer market with something decent.

I'm still however, a big RAMI fan and carry proponent of the
Chunky Munky..

And therefore.. will be keen on obtaining a RAMI P before the P-07 Duty.

Someone else out there ( and he knows who he is) will be all
over one of the first Dutys to hit our shores.

I'm mostly curious about the new trigger setup. I'm also very displeased to know that it does not use normal compact mags. I don't think it should be a full-length grip model, or that it should use new mags, unless we get reversable mag releases so I can get a CZ with a right-side release.

I thought I was done purchasing guns this year! That one looks really interesting. I'd like to try it out! Not a bad MSRP either.
