What is the last gun that you bought?

Can't pick it up till tomorrow but I bought a Ruger 22/45 MkIII 5.5in today at a gun show. Got it cheaper then my benchmark site Buds and way cheaper than local gun shops had it.

Talo Ruger blackbird stainless .22

(for my 14 year old daughter.. Ya, sure bob..)

Waiting out the 10 days now to pick it up.

(looks like this) It does have a .22 magnum cylinder which I like.

Be well, Bob

Just bought a Ruger LCP today at the gun show. I felt the need for a pocket gun to make it easier to carry in the Houston heat. Range report forthcoming some day next week.

I bought a CZ 97BD and added it to my stable of .45acps.

I'm really drooling over the Ruger Scout Rifle. I've decided on it over an AR in .308. I will add it soon.

Just picked up a Gen4 G22 along with everything I need to reload 40S&W on my 550b. Magwell, +5 floor plates, sights and trigger kit are on there way. It should turn out to be a great limited gun.

You ain't gonna' believe my LAST gun purchase! TEN pistols, 14 holsters, 7 pistol magazines and 4 sets of grips from the last RIA auction, JUST TO OBTAIN ONE OF 'EM for my collection!!!

WAMO "HAMILTON DUELING PISTOL" .22rf, single-shot. Unknown quantity made sometime in the '50s. In nearly 78 years the first one I've found, and only seen pics of two others.

Yep, made by the well known California toymakers who brough you hoola hoops and frisbees. The little 10-panel fold-out advertising piece at lower left in photos shows WAMO was the brand name WHAM-O used for their more deadly "Sporting Goods."

I finally have corraled all three of their .22rf firearms. :)

After 4 years of silence maybe it's time for the new post of mine. Quite a lot changed since 2007, I'm no longer in Europe, but it's not the right place to talk about it now. So, back on topic. My latest is Walther P1 made in 1979, but still unfired. I've heard it's the last batch of those pistols leaving Germany, so I couldn't resist. Except for the scratched grips this pistol is in mint condition. Came with some kind of the anti-rust paper sitting tight in the barrel. My first impression is that the pistol has very nice ergonomics, despite rather crappy grips. Front sight is dovetailed, ramped post with a white, big dot painted on it. Thanks to the single short tag line in the middle of the rear sight this system works in similar way to XS big dot sights. Magazine holds only 8 rounds and has European style release. There is a lanyard ring builded into the frame on the left side down the grip. Another interesting fact about the late P1s - not only there is the hex pin in the frame, but also beefer, reinforced slide comparing to the older models. I have to tell You that it's one of the most simple designs to disassembly. Very easy to clean. Take a look at the inside of the slide - You can see where Beretta 92 has its roots. Now, take a look at the inside of the frame...looks similar? Well kind like a Glock, except for two springs on the sides and hammer in the end. There is no traditional recoil spring as You can see on the pictures. Instead, the P-1 uses two small recoil spring assemblies mounted on the pins on both sides of the slide. There are some very light machining marks on the aluminum frame, but nothing on the steel slide or barrel. Obviously the Germans knew their business. I have to take it to the range, before Winter will arrive. There is also a modern loaded chamber indicator visible just over the hammer on this picture. When the hammer is pulled back You may use the safety lever as a decocker. What a cool design! It came with the standard German military cleaning kit. Could be the best $375 that I ever spent. We will see. Thanks.

An exceptionally clean 1955 manufacture Ithaca M37 16 gauge was my most recent purchase. I sure hope it isn't my last.

I kept promising myself that I will not buy any new guns. I wish to spend my money on upgrades with optical sights, training, and ammo. In fact I will try to sell some of what I have and trade off also some of it. If you buy a gun a year and seldom sell them and you make 60's yrs of age you can guess that one could accumulate a lot of firearms. You can not shoot more than two at time and normally one is more than enough.
I have my semiauto 308 cal rifles nailed down, also my semiauto assault rifle look alikes, autoshotgun combat/hunting gun, my 9mm glock combat pistols (still of a ton of 1911's that I do not use anymore), hunting rifles, sniper rifle, mil bolt action nagant& mauser, most keltec pistols, target pistols and revolver, and a host of revolvers and pump shotguns and other stuff. I am really not planning to buy another gun. In fact I am planning to trade a shotgun for a boat motor. I have a friend that collects and owns in excess of 300 guns, most S&Ws. This is too much for me.
you know: "Beware of the man that has only one gun and knows how to shoot it well".

Picked up an Ruger SP 101, 3.06" barrel .357 about a month ago, a really nice piece. I've looked at these for quite awhile, trying to decide if I really needed another revolver then decided to get a CCW, this fits perfectly in a IWB holster, lies almost perfectly flat against the back. I really like the heavy barrel feel, have been using snap caps to get rigger broken in, think this will probably work for quite awhile, no S&W's worth looking at, unless an older one comes into view........ then maybe.

just brought home a NRM 1991 Colt gov model this week.

i got a serious jones for a ruger blackbird. thanks for sending me over the edge bob

Couple weekends ago. 642 no-lock. $329+tax at the Dallas Market Hall Gun Show. Sadly, been too hot to shoot it, the Rossi coach gun mentioned earlier in this thread, or the Marlin 795 bought before that. Weather just broke, tho. 'bout to be mucho smiles on this boca real soon.:D

Just bought me another Winchester 94 in 30-30. I couldn't pass it up. This guy at work said that he didn't really like lever actions and I got it for $100.00. Young guy that likes the video game guns. It is a project gun for me as I want to make me a trapper out of it.
