This has been going so long, I can now make a second run at this thread.
My first post (#74) shows my poor typing skills. That was a S&W 4553TSW.

Now its been several years and I have another Smith in the safe. I picked up a 686-2 6". They are very fun guns to shoot. The Smiths have now passed the Colts. So it goes.

HKP30 Long Slide with light LEM Trigger. I love shooting this gun. It's accurate, reliable out of the box, easy to field strip and clean, and shoots any brand of ammo so far. The comfort factor is unparalleled due to the interchangeable side and back panels/straps.

Just purchased a TriStar T-100. Made in Turkey it is inspired by the CZ line of guns in the way the slide fit is designed and the safety and slide lock. It's a 9mm. gun at a very good price point. Double action design.
The magazines are interesting in that they are made by Mec Gar and apparantly fit both the 9mm. (so marked on one side) and .40 S&W (so marked on the reverse side). Gave me a start when I got it home and pulled the magazine and saw the .40 marking on one side before I figured out what was going on. ;)

My most recent purchase is an FNS9. My most recent to get not-disproved in MD is an AR Lower.

I recently scored a very lightly used 4" FA 83 with 3 cylinders, 45acp, 454 Casull, and 45 Colt, along with an FA holster. Premier grade.

    What's this? A lowly Sterling Model 400 .380 calibre?

Yup. And there's something appealing to me about making the proverbial silk purse out of a sow's ear. But surprisingly, this didn't need much work: some stoning of the slide rails, sear, and hammer; tweaking the last shot hold-open lever; and a good cleaning. Picked it up a few weeks ago and put nearly 200 rounds through it without a problem of any kind. I believe it's roughly the same dimensions as a Walther PPK.

I finally got one of the guns on my bucket list: Ruger Red Label 30" Sporting Clays model 12 gauge. I did the deal yesterday and hit the sporting clays course today and it was fantastic. The gun was made in 93/94 according to the serial but it looks great.

I am just thrilled with this acquisition.

Yesterday, I got a Ruger Vaquero, 5 1/2" barrel in .45LC. At some point I'll send it home to get a .45acp cylinder fitted too.
