This morning I picked up a late 70s Taurus model 94 DA .22 revolver. I'll have to wait for a day off before I get to shoot it, so who knows, maybe Christmas day. Its the 4" barrel with full wood grips, blued, with the old logo that looks more like a cow that a bull.

Just got one of the FD308's from F&D Defense. Pcked her up Friday, did a quick field sight in whne I got to the ranch Friday afternoon and then a couple hours later I dropped a nice doe at 205 yards with a heart shot. She is shaping up to be an outstanding rifle!

Last Gun I Bought

I just today picked up, at the FFL dealer, the J.C.Higgins (SEARS) .22, 9 shot revolver (4" barrel) based on High-Standard Sentinel design. It was purchased mid-November, but with the UPS 2 day air (took 1 1/2 wk.), delay by another previously selected FFL, and bad local weather, I got it. Sears has not sold guns, and especially handguns for approx. 50 years. It was in immaculate condition, and well worth the wait. Also, enabled me to locate an honest and able FFL dealer. I look forward to shooting this keeper.

Ruger 1911, 45. Got a good deal on a used one, pick it up Thursday from a private party in my town. It came through before the CZ.
