What is the last gun that you bought?

My latest purchase was a Ruger Mini 14. Haven't had a chance to shoot it much yet, but from the small amount I've fired it, I'm happy, its exactly what I'd hoped it would be.

Thanks. It is my second one. This one was beat up pretty bad so it had to be redone. The other I have had for a few years. Other than some minor scratches on the grips, it was in excellent condition. Will see how this goes. I am getting the Metalife satin finish.

Ruger Days at the local Outdoor Sporting goods store; great prices on all Ruger firearms. I've been eyeing these in a variety of calibers for about a year or so. Couldn't pass up the deal, plus a Free Ruger hat too. Haven't shot it yet, but I hear they are very nice for such small lightweight revolvers.

built a new 10/22. Only thing from Ruger on it was the receiver....the rest was from Kidd, Nodak and Hogue.

also just picked up an AR 15-22...tossed a Vortex Strikefire I had on and some Magpul junk (won't leave both on...just a gag to have both mounted).

Aquired for safekeeping from a deceased close friend -

Colt 1911 Mk IV Series 80 Combat Government 45ACP, made in 1986. Almost new, with the box.

I shot it today, it was a bittersweet experience since he was a co-worker, hunting partner, and shooting companion.

Just picked up a Kahr CM9 locally. The mixed reviews have me concerned but man, what a trigger! If it proves to be accurate and reliable I think my 9mm iwb ccw search could come to an early end.

Every Girl's Crazy "bout a Sharp Armed Man

1964-1965 S&W Model 10 2" barrel. Couldn't resist the $229 price tag ($244 out the door). Shoots where it points. One of those rare fixed sighted guns that really got sighted in (158gr bulleted loads). I replaced the synthetic mother of pearl grips with these modified exotic wood ones from Thailand.
