What is the last gun that you bought?

I"ve never understood the motivation for asking such questions on forums. OP, do you really base your buying decisions upon what a lot of strangers (many of whom are quite deluded, or "sport only") wanted to buy? Or do you want to brag about what you've just bought?

FNH, FNX 45 Tactical. 15 round capacity, and it hits what it is pointed at. Next up..... custom 1911. Any suggestions????

Uberti replica of a Walker Colt just a week ago. My game cam behind the cabin is showing lots of deer and elk at my salt block and there is hardly any snow so I decided to get the Walker as it is shorter the my Uberti Buntline and more powerful so I can drop a pesky black bear that has not gone into hibernation yet if I have to.

Ruger

Well I fell for the Ruger 10/22 Take Down and bought one. Mounted a great Leupold scope on it and couldn't wait to get to the range to get it sighted in. Very nice package. Will

An H&R Sportsman 999 top-break .22 revolver for my birthday, been looking for a nice one for a long time, just a little blueing wear on the muzzle. 1936-1937 manufacture, the oldest gun in my collection. Couldn't pass it up for $260! Shoots great!

Remington ACR Carbine.

Had one of the first Bushmaster ones and sold it in the craziness early in 2013, but always kinda regretted selling it, so I ordered one up from Remington to replace it.

Happy camper now.

I just got this in today, and got to check it off my Winchester lever action bucket list.

A special edition takedown Model 1895 in 30-06 caliber with case harden frame and upgraded wood. This is recent production under license by Maroku.

I thought the wild boar tusks, African pith helmet and Anson Mills cartridge belt would give it that Teddy Roosevelt flavor.
Of course Teddy took a .405 caliber to Africa, but what do I need with an big game gun that costs $2.75 per round to shoot.

cheers

Oberndorf Mauser C96, nothing matching, sight-ladder detent button missing. Soon as I get around to replacing the important springs, this old heap will be taken for a spin (and then the barrel will get relined). I'll probably end up getting a shoulder stock for it, seeing as Uncle BATFE says I can :D
