What is the last gun that you bought?

A Polish P-83 Wanad today. So glad that modern types dominate the gun fashion magazines, or have become chic.

The DA trigger is very smooth, requires only a constant pressure, and though slightly heavier, might be as nice as the DA on my fairly new Sig 232.
About as good as on my EG Makarov. Quite a surprise! Looking fwd. to a second P-83.

I'm in the middle of a rare acquisition burst: a new Gen4 Glock 26 (never had 300 flawless and accurate rounds out of my now-sold Beretta Nano); a new 5" Ruger GP100 (replacing the now-sold 3" version I judged too short for critter defense; and a used S&W 36-7 snubbie (for my non-shooter wife to use in the last resort).

A couple of months ago, I purchased an S&W Model 29-3 that had been a safe queen. I LOVE it, and I hope to eventually get a .44 Magnum Lever-Action Rifle to go with it.

A Star B 9mm...today, for $300.
Pretty happy. Shot it pretty well...slide stays open with one round in mag, every time.
Well made handgun. Just have to get a little work done

To JS1911

I bought a Winchester Model 94 chambered in .44 magnum to compliment my .44 Blackhawk. It's a lovely lever action rifle, IMHO.

too many days without a post here!

I bought a Savage 11, used for $300 on Monday evening in 7MM-08 REM. It was listed at 80% Condition. I cleaned it up very well and have not found where the 20% deduction is.

Shot it tonight and got a sub-dime (0.705") group.... so I am fairly happy with my first centerfire rifle purchase! (My Garand was a gift!)

Taurus TCP to replace my P64 as my EDC. An inch shorter and less than half the weight.
My P64 is still in pristine condition and I'd like to keep her that way, as well.

Here is a Smith and Wesson Model 10-5 that I purchased a few days ago for $325. Best double action trigger I have ever used. Serial number dates it to around 1967.

Ruger refurbished Air Hawk to shoot in my garage for 1 1/2 cents a shot.

Got a Crosman Vantage with a Nitro Piston coming for the same purpose.

Hope to get involved with the air gunners in southern Mich.

Got a few scopes on the way also.

I bought a M&P Shield 9 mm last week. I haven't shot it yet but hope to tomorrow. I cleaned it last night and loaded the mags so it is ready to go. This will be my concealed carry gun when I get my CHL. I took the CHL training class this past Saturday and now I am just waiting for the State to do their part and send me the license. I hope to have the license in 60 days or less and then I can legally carry. In Texas we will be able to open carry after the 1st of the year but I doubt I will ever open carry, however, I will have the option.

OK so look. I have no idea if those new CZ's are any good at all. But you win the best of gun porn contest for 2015, 2016,2017 and probably all the way through 2018. Congrats.
And would you mind doing a review? We can't get them here in CA, but I can live vicariously through you...

Oh, btw I've been saving my pennies, selling a few less-used firearms and my FDE SCAR17 has arrived. Ba Da Bing.
It's still in CA waiting period lockup for a week or two so no pics yet. Besides, they all look the same.

In the last 2 months I acquired 2 new guns. A Springfield XD 9mm and a Colt 1911 45 01070XSE. Both have performed flawlessly. I am very pleased with both.

Last thursday, I bought a new Remington 700 Long Range in 7mm Rem Mag. Put the Viper PST 4-16×50 FFP I had sitting in my safe on it with a Blackhawk 20moa rail and Burris Xtreme Tactical rings. Took it to the range friday with 2 boxes of ammo just to break it in. Hornady Superformance 162 SST was disappointing at 2.5" 3 shot groups, but Winchester 150 Power Points gave me a 1.25", with 2 nearly touching. Not fantastic, but it's a start. Once the barrel is broken in and I have some brass, I'll go to the bench and come up with something better....
