What is the last gun that you bought?

686 3" Talo However,,,

The seller sent the gun to wrong FFL nearly 2,000 miles away.

Stuff happens. Glad I am in no rush.

Local gun dealer (salesman, actually) got a Colt Model M in trade. He was waiting for me. He baited me in by showing me the pistol.

In the words of Flip Wilson, "The debbil made me buy dis gun!"

Very light wear, bore looks new. Going to range to shoot it for accuracy this afternoon.

Having camera problems. No photos yet.

Archie, have you fallen in love yet???!!!
:)

Colt Model M Pocket Hammerless

Hey, Archie !
Is it .32 ACP or .380 ACP ? Both are great !
Either way, way to go !

Mine is a .380.:)

Do you like the Romans 10-9 Model too ?

Never had a snubbie and came across this little S&W Model 10-5 2" with pinned barrel and it has the square butt which I like. The gun is in overall excellent shape so I grabbed it. All of my revolvers are 4" or greater.

EuroArms Rogers & Spencer, gonna have it Goonerized after I buy a .45 LC conversion cylinder for it. Then I'll have the receiver bone and charcoal case-hardened and have some custom grips made by Classic Single Action.

Ruger 10/22 with a BX Trigger.

Found a Talo 10/22 worth the bucks. It is a gray synthetic carbine and comes with the BX trigger. I was a little put off with the plastic rear sight but I'll scope it and shoot it and if it doesn't suit me it will go on GunBroker.

BTW: The trigger is very good.

A new Henry H010 45-70.

Seems a lot of guys love it or hate it based on their expectation of whether or not a lever gun needs to be capable of side loading. The wood is awfully nice, the lever smooth, and the cartridge speaks for itself.

This followed me home today from the gun show for $250. I let some Balistol sit on the receiver where the rust was and for 15mins and rubbed with a cleaning cloth on with each side and it took most of the rust off leaving what finish was left. The wood looks pretty good too

Smith & Wesson .455 Mark II Hand Ejector 2nd Model from 1916-17 - converted to .45. A re-blue, but in great shape.

Here's a simple question ..
. that seems relevant to this thread titled,
"What's the last gun that you bought?"

How do you define "gun".

Not a trick question. Meant in the spirit of gun.

I own .22, .30-30, and 9 mm.

I define "gun" as a machine that can throw
those caliber bullets faster than I can throw a rock.

Arrow? We'll talk about those.

EAA Witness Pavona .380
Yep, it's a "girlie gun" with a feminine name on the barrel and gold specks in the frame. I really don't care. It's also well-made, remarkably accurate, feels great in hold, has ridiculously light recoil, and was a hell of a value for what I paid.

I have a TriStar T-120 that I really like, and I basically wanted a .380 version of the CZ-75 design. The Pavona is a joy to shoot and I'm genuinely impressed with it.

Kahr MK40. I'm in CA, so I can't pick it up just yet. I had a PM9 which was the perfect size and a dream to ccw, but it was never reliable. I'm taking a chance on the stainless model in 40 cal.

Latest acquisition was an auction score - 870TB Wingmaster from mid 70s in great condition. Beautiful wood, with fancy scrollwork checkering. Clickety-clack goodness :)

Funny thing was I went to the auction for a Security Six 357 - but there was a guy there hell bent on buying every revolver in the auction, so I consoled myself with a shotgun.

Part of the regular estate auction circuit - occasionally a household with guns gets sold off.

Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, I could have posted a new answer each month this year. Most recently, I happened to trade for a Glock 17 Gen 4 with night sights. Not a Glock fanboy, and had a 19 Gen 4 previously that I didn't care for. This one with the beavertail grip feels pretty good.
