1975 marlin 1894 44mag, no stocks on it. Got it for 140, barrel looks new down the more. I'm happy.

I've been here (most of) .. what*, 17 years.

    Ok, ok, as of August.
    (Thanks to mods & admins.)

(* I was traveling for 5 of those,
    and not paying attention.)

This is one of the best threads
    I've experienced.

    Thanks.

And what have we learned here?

    Images are more than words.

The Browning 1911-380 exceeds our expectations. It's light and small enough to be a carry gun, but it doesn't feel like a tiny mouse gun either. No complaints about the trigger, short and smooth. Soft recoil. My wife and I both were both as accurate with it as one can be with a new gun at 7 and 15 yards in an indoor range. Only complaint is the black-on-black sights could use a dab of contrasting paint.

    Latest is a Ruger Mod # K10/22BB-CY.
It is a stainless 10-22, with standard length of pull, Walnut stock with straight grip. Ruger symbol cut into buttstock. Haven't shot it yet, but I think I am going to like it. Went in the gunshop to get the last bricks of Blazer ammo they had for $21.95, and there it was red tagged $150 less than it was the day before, so I got it and 4 bricks of ammo. Just looked, it's a Talo model.

I purchased a Colt 1911 9mm Competition series pistol. Shot it one time. As it came it was shooting low and left. Have to figure out the new Novak adjustable rear sight. Did shoot nice small groups however. Have had it about 1 week.
