CZ P-07, to replace the P-07 Duty. Just like the P-07 trigger profile better along with a few other details. Oddly, the gun was set up with the mag release on the right side and the safety levers installed vs the decockers, usually it's the other way around. Took all of 15 minutes to switch them around.

Czech CZ 50 .32ACP, 7+1. Saw this C&R selling for under $280 online and the impulses kicked right in!

Arriving at my doorstep on Tuesday. Always a good feeling.

A very mint, late 1965 Springfield Armory rebuild Garand. The place was completely shut down and done less than two years later.

just bought a Savage 110 tactical today, FDE 6.5 creedmoor. I added a magpul bipod, Leupold VX Freedom 4-12x50 scope and Warne Optima rings. We just relocated to South Dakota so I needed a long range deer setup as my .30-.30's aren't going to cut it on the prairie.

Just picked up a brand new 6" S&W Model 48 on Tuesday. It's a blued 22 magnum revolver with walnut grips.

    This is a stock photo:

    5715.jpg

Can't wait to get to the range to break it in a bit.

    I just have a thing for S&W K-frames.

    Hi...
I picked up a blued Dan Wesson .41Magnum with an 8 3/8" barrel today. This is a Monson gun.
I am a big fan of Dan Wesson firearms...this is #4 in my collection.
Be taking it to the range tomorrow to shoot it for the first time.

    Awesome.

Let me recommend Blackhorn 209 powder. So much better and easier to clean than regular blackpowder.

You clean it like you clean a regular gun and can use regular gun oils, no hot water, no foam, no specialty blackpowder cleaners.

A couple of 1851 colt clones.
One brass framed 7 1/2 and a engraved sheriff polished frame. Got a conversion cylinder coming for the steel framed one.

Last month I purchased this 9x19mm S&W SD9 with black Melonite slide and Hi-Viz fiber optic sights as my EDC to replace my S&W Model 65-1 which is effectively irreplaceable.

Then, on Sunday, I bought this .22 LR Henry Survival Rifle to carry on our travels. It fits nicely in my backpack with other survival items should we be stranded on the road.

    I can't believe that I didn't take a pic, but i traded a Taurus. 357 for a GSG .22lr 1911 with rail.
I shot it early this morning. I ran three mags through without a miss or misfire.
    I like it!
    ........more later.

Its been a little over ten years since I was active in shooting sports and hunting. I let my 03 FFL lapse in 2005 and over the years sold off my little collection of interesting milsurps. Got the bug again over the summer, and reapplied for a C&R license. Must have broke a record for turnaround. Ticket showed up exactly 20 days after they charged my card. First purchase on it showed up yesterday - this nice little CZ82 from J&G Sales. Was expecting it to have less finish, so I’m pleased. Already have loading dies and components for 9x18, so I’m set for some fun!

I stopped in a local shop yesterday and picked up a Savage 24. I’ve got a weakness for Savage 24s and Win 94s.

DPMS LR-308 just bought purely out of panic since I already have many .308's including a couple Steyr Scout Rifles, several Model 700-based varmint or 'sniper' rifles, an AR-10T and an M1A. So definitely no need there but I figured I would help out my LGS. Now I'm building it into a heavy night rifle with an IR scope and bipod / tripod for feral hogs.

I picked up a second-hand but unfired G48 for a really good price. My wife likes the Glock trigger better than the long stacking pull of the Kahr P9.

    Got a Mossberg 183D-B .410, a Glenfield model 60 .22, and a Remington 550-1 .22 on Saturday at an auction. Today I found a Ruger Blackhawk .41 mag. 20200928_100931.jpg 20200928_135928.jpg

    Ruger #1 (pre B model)
4 digit serial number, vert split rings.
Made about 80 of em in .280 Rem.

Good shape but a few pits on tang that would cost me a fair bit to have cleaned up.

Put it on consignment at a shop, IMHO they priced to way too high. So come Nov 1 I'll go fetch it.
Am on a synthetic kick, saw a Merkel Helix explorer w 20" bbl in .308 for $2200.
    That has my gears spinnin.

Don't need one. Wanted an Alpinist in .243. Expensive. Already have 3 deer rifles.
But its got a synth stock ;)

    Maybe.................
