A synth stocked custom #1 would be nice though.............
Is the DA trigger on the CZ50 and 70 known to be much heavier than the DA pulls in many other types?
My .380 (commercial) Russian Makarov might have been 12 lbs., whereas the Sig P6 is about 11 lbs.
I just bought my second Vz.58. I fell victim to the panic buying, and I know it. I love this gun, so I wanted another before anyone in D.C. decides to ban them.
It's a shame I lost it in a boating accident the very next day.
In the Spring I bought a Savage 110 Classic rifle, in 7mm-08.
There is another thread that asks what are the next five gun purchases in your list, something to that effect.
IIRC, I said there were only three. Well, you know what happens....
One does some reading or sees an advertisement and being kinda weak lately, I can be swayed.
Friday was a beautiful day to hop on the Harley and take a putt. The darn bike took me to a gun shop in Virginia, MN.
Walked into the shop, straight to the counter, under the glass, on the end to be seen first is my temptation!
This followed me home yesterday.Purchased two Wilson Combat magazines also.
Even though I did not own a 45 before this, I have two boxes of ammo, dies and components on hand to try it out today.
Auction today. Picked up some Marlins. A 336 RC 30-30, 336 SC .35 Remington, and a model 60 .22.
Sig P290RS about 2-1/2 months ago, but it was the last gun I bought.
Mossberg Patriot 270 Walnut Stock. My first bolt action and certainly not my last! I have the itch now for more...
FN K98K type Mauser think it’s a 1924/30 type but unsure and it’s in 7.62x51
My newest firearm and my 8 year old Ruger that followed the wife home from work one day. Both equally effective deterrents
I forgot hes my profile pic lol
Does 1/2 a gun count? I bought a 5.5” Ruger mk IV Target upper and it’s getting threaded for a suppressor and having the front sight reset. It IS the serialed portion, after all.
Savage 93G in 22wmr. Mounted a Vortex scope and an Allen sling on it.
A Beretta M1951
1917 Ishapore No1, MKIII, converted in 1939-410 project
Ishapore, 1953, No1, MKIII Enfield de-activated rifle
Ruger Mini-30. I love the wood stock.
This 444 Marlin.
First HK, VP40
This one is the last one last week ec9s 9mm.
HKs are nice looking guns. The top of the slides are wide, which gives it a bit blocky of a look, but when you're racking them on reloads, I think it's the best easiest to grip, non-finger scraping surface I have shot. And I've shot alot of 9mms.
I do like that the rear of the slide actually has small little finger grips
I have gone back and forth about taking them off. I do reload training, and when I go very fast, sometimes they catch my fingers. But they do give a non-visual reference point on the slide grip, which is probably why they are there, alongside racking on a hard surface or belt/shoe. If you are in a very hot environment like me 4 months a year, they are a good workaround for sweaty hands. BUT I should train for the worst use scenario, so I guess they will stay.
Finally got some pics of my 2 newest additions. Auction last Saturday. A Ruger 77/22 in 22 Hornet or so they thought. Turns out it's a K Hornet. Brass looked a little different after firing, has a shoulder. Nice surprise. Also got another 1894 Marlin in 44 mag.
Bought my duty weapon last week. Gen4 Glock 17
Separate names with a comma.
