Those are fine little pistols. My wife’s grandpa (A prominent Central Texas building contractor) carried this one From the 1920s until the 1950s. Even though most of the finish is gone on the slide, it still shoots great.
That is nice. Love those Model 51s. That is the same type gun Patton used to shoot at low flying German aircraft. Well in real life, not in the movie..
Wife saw me comment on a S&W Facebook ad. A day later said, I don’t know what to get you for Christmas. Why don’t you buy the gun you commented on!!! I’d been thinking about it off and on over the past three years. One week later and one gunbroker win, I had it. Used but with only 50rds through it. S&W 686 4”
My first Remington came home today. $150 for a used 550-1. Shot it at the range 10 minutes after buying it. Was accurate still even with my crappy marksmanship and using an old scope.
I inherited a Remington 550-1 from my father but mine has no scope. Does yours still have the shell deflector? Many 550-1s lack this part.
A 1944 Mosin Nagant M44 and a BYF coded K98K came home today. Kinda crazy to think they may have shot at each other during the Eastern Front battle. Mauser appears to be numbers matching except the bolt but the bolt itself looks numbers matching. Im assuming its an American capture
I was at a gun shop, minding my own business, they brought out some new guns and one was a new KelTec P17 22lr, FDE. It's a homely little gun but I've seen some very positive reviews on it. It comes with 3 16rd mags, threaded barrel with adapter for a suppressor, lifetime limited warranty. Gunbroker has them at about $350, give or take a few bucks. My shop had it at $199. I hope ir shoots as well as the ones I've seen on Youtube vids.
A hex-receiver Mosin-Nagant that's been all dressed up in an Archangel stock, stubby bolt handle, scope mount with rings, bipod, Finn trigger and quick release sling rings. I know, I know. Yeesh.
A Les Baer SRP in .45ACP. This model was originally sold to the FBI HRT. This is an early Hillsdale model which is considered to be more desirable than newer models, but looks and operates like new.
I would really like a new gun right now. But, If I had my druthers I would really rather have a new to me used gun right now. But since prices are up on both right now and I CAN'T EVEN FIND AMMO right now I'll just keep my Druthers in my pocket Right Now. Sure would be glad if this BS Bull Crap was over Right Now.
AR-10 from Palmetto. Got it a month ago but haven’t shot it much. Because I can’t afford to at $1 per trigger pull. Oh but she shoots so sweetly.
Kibler Virginia longrifle (flintlock) kit. haven't even opened the box. I need to write articles on assembling it.
I didn't buy it - wife did - Savage Axis II .223 - said she was walking through Walmart and saw it was just a buck 89 - sounded good to her so got it for me - it was a special deal - with 4x12 Bushnell scope - good for plinking. I won't complain -
Just purchased in the past 3 weeks: Springfield Arms HELLCAT and a S&W M&P 15 Sport II. Now if I could find some 5.56 ammo for the AR.....
