What is the last gun that you bought?

Didn’t buy it, but won it at a charity skeet match before Covid shut things down. CZ O/U 12 gauge.

I have CZ's in .410, 28ga and 20ga......all sxs's
Sold my classics when I got sick, bought these for the price AND they're great weapons! Finish, wood to metal fit and tight actions.....nice variety of chokes in the larger gauges......great quail, dove and chukar weapons.....they shoot steel which my old brownings were advised against, wood is also very nice.....

So to make thing's happier let's talk about you'r last toy you brought home.
Mine was a sig p220 45 acp:).
There that's much better, let's hear from you.
Lol. Mine was a Hi-Point .45 ACP made in the 1990s. Yes, you read that correctly. It wasn't even my first or second Hi-Point, either. I wanted a .45 for (real) cheap, but with a metal frame. The old Hi-Points are damn near the ONLY gun that fits that description. It's accuracy is meh, and like all blowback guns in calibers above .22LR it hurts my hand to fire it. But ... it's a .45 with a metal frame!

Went to pick up the little 64 FV-SR I bought online and this was on the wall, had to have it, love the Betsy Ross grips.

I agree that metal framed pistol production is on the decline ... but 1911's are still made of metal, I've got a couple SiG's and CZ's ... but as you pointed out, they don't fall into the "(real) cheap" category ... and while many, possibly even most, shooters look down their nose at the Hi-Point, they do fill a nitch ... sometimes its all people can afford and they feel the need to be able to protect themselves. As you stated, their accuracy is "meh" but most people that buy them aren't shooters so their ability is also "meh" ... personally, I've never heard of one blowing up ... and let's face it, when being confronted, just the sight of a gun ... any gun, is enough to stop the assailant (unless there is rage or a substance involved)

I bought a Browning Hi Power last month. I may have overpaid but...YOLO.

I finally assembled an AR upper to go with the lower I assembled a few years ago.

Picked up a little .32 S&W (short) H&R top Break, waiting for it to get here now. more pics once it does and I get it cleaned up.
Now I gotta find or make some brass (thinking I can cut down some .32 long if I can't find short brass).

I picked up an XD9 Sub Compact today. It came with an extended 10rd mag. I picked up a std 16rd mag with it. I've always found these to be reliable and I shoot them well.

Picked this one up yesterday that I had ordered through the BX, and when I came home the book was in the mailbox. I have also ordered a DAO hammer from Charter Arms, and it should be here in a few days. Buffalo Bore got me s supply of their .32 H&R +P ammo in 3 days, and with prices as crazy as they are for most things these days, BB's prices seemed almost reasonable. I already have a good supply of .32 S&W Long as well as components for it as well as .32 H&R and .327.

This past weekend's gun show. Finally got my Mossberg 352.

My 1st gun was a lesser Sears version of the 352; birch stock and no fold-down fore-end. Was saving for a Ruger 10/22 but that would have taken another 6 months so I got what I had enough money for. Must have put 50 boxes down the pipe, it was a great rifle in hindsight and so simple when out of the stock.

Two nights ago, just looking at BrokeGunner, not actually going to buy anything..................
Interarms Mark X , 458 Win Mag, became mine, couldn't resist the temptation. Don't need it, have plenty of large caliber rifles, didn't have that particular caliber, fixed that insufficiency.
Now the wait begins, looking for ammo and dies in the interim. Mike

Hi...
Picked up a new Rock Island 1911 in .45ACP today at a local gun shop.
Blued steel with Novak style sights.

Didn't really need another 1911 or another .45ACP but need doesn't really have anything to do with it.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine. I added a Pearce Grip to it and now it fits me like a glove and it goes bang every time without a hitch.

Actually picked up several from a friend that was looking to "thin the heard" ...
Brand new Glock M22 and 100 rounds of 40 S&W.

Two Marlin model 60's ... one is a well cared for dark stained birch stock, the other a light colored laminated stock which looks unfired, and I may keep for a while. Both with inexpensive scopes, and about 500 rounds of ammo.

Lastly;
Henry lever action 22WRM and 300 rounds of ammo, it also looked unfired, until yesterday when I took it to the farm and sighted it in ... it's the only one I really wanted! Now I just need to find a 6-shooter to go with it, probably a Ruger convertible (22LR/22WRM)

Probably get it out to the gun club on Sunday.
Have a .30cal ammo can full of my general purpose/target handloads ready to go.

Hopefully it will be capable of 100% feeding reliability with my handloads. Both my Springfield Armory full size 1911 and Colt Combat Commander are, so I have high hopes for this 1911.

I was messing around a couple of towns over, running some errands and thought I would look for some ammo at the local hardware stores, that also carry the stuff. I was not disappointed as no one had any! On my 3rd and final stop, I decided to take a stroll down to their gun counter.

I swear, I heard a chorus of angels singing and a beam of light shown down to highlight one particular rifle in the rack! All I saw was fiddleback and feather crotch wood. Then I noticed the sticker on the stock, "CZ"! I was hoping it was a .22 or .22 WMR (I would have picked it up, even if it wasn't!). I asked to see it and it was even more impressive. I asked if they had any others in the back. He brought out a couple more for me to see. One was pretty plain with a little figure in the butt. The other was a real fence post!

I told him to start the paperwork! I forgot I had left the wife in the car! She went to the garden center and filled the back up. I didn't even care and we both drove off with smiles on our faces!

I finally hit the "Wood Lottery", without having to pay an arm & a leg!

CZ 457 LUX in .22LR... just what I was hoping for! The pix don't begin to show how awesome it is in person! Seriously... dollar for dollar... is there anyone out there, right now, that can beat CZ?! All this and around ~$550!

PS: I took it out a couple of days ago and it shoots as good as it looks, even with me and the open sites and my poor (old) eyesite!
