What is the last gun that you bought?

Went to a gun show last weekend. Don't know much about this pistol ( S&W Shield 2.0 Performance Center ), but it fit my hand nicely & the price seemed good ( $399 ). Been to a lot of gun shows and bought nothing, so decided I'd break that string.

 

I just bought a S&W 617 4 inch. Got it because I answered the ad 20 minutes after it was posted. I've been wanting a 4 inch for a couple of years but haven't found on at a decent price.

I shoot Steel Challenge with my 6 inch 617 and I'm doing pretty well against the autos. My times are faster with the revolver than with my Black Mamba.

I will relegate my 6 inch for Rimfire Pistol Iron and use the 4 for Rimfire Pistol Open. Revolvers shoot against the autos when using .22s.

I don't have the 4 yet so here's a picture of my 6 the way I'm going to set up the new gun.

 

I read the beginning of the thread, and remembered my first gun, you will find it funny, but I bet you will not guess what kind of gun it is.

 

Weatherby Elements in 12 and 20 ga.. Both 26 in barrels. Nothing fancy, just the synthetic models

No, it's a toy. Imitation Makarov, not compatible with real Makarov parts. I taught him to eat real ammo 9x18.

Added one to the mouse gun collection. 1964 vintage Beretta 950b Jetfire 25ACP.

 

I bought one of these a few years ago but I could never figure out the manufacture date.
They are fun to shoot.

Here’s where I found the date codes. The older made in Italy ones are dated by Roman numerals stamped on the frame, after 1988 Beretta USA ones can be looked up by the serial numbers.

Just paid for a Springfield Armory XDS Mod2 OSP 9mm 4". Waiting for permits to bring it home. Springfield is offering 3 free mags& a small bag through the end of August on all striker fire handguns.

About a year ago, I bought a Taurus 605 .357 mag snubby. I like it very much. Its does not have the great trigger like on my Smiths, but I shoot it very well.

I picked up this Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Tactical yesterday.

 

So this looks like it's a Brazilian market only pistol? Looks like a Tx22 but in 9mm
