CZ 97B. No CZ expert, but from what I've read, CZ stopped making these early last year & people that have them, are holding on to them. This one was listed online for about two weeks. However, the owner didn't list it for sale, but as a trade item for something pretty specific. Maybe that's why it was available for so long. Anyway, I contacted him, and asked what cash amount he'd take. His price was more than fair compared to a couple I did see sell on GB.

Picked up this pimp-tastic 1973-vintage 1100 off GB for $460.

It was Cerakoted in Bronze at some point...not really my thing, but the price was right and I miss my old 1100 and 1187. I swapped the Choate pistol-grip with a Remington stock I had and pulled the Wilson extension off my 870 as a fill-in until I can order another. I'll probably order an S&J extension as their specs show it to be 3/4" longer than the Wilson, which should put it flush with the muzzle (the barrel was cut at 18.75" to coincide with the vent rib).

When I picked it up, I mentioned to the consigner that I had seen it when it was listed previously a few weeks ago and bid on it, but didn't win it then. She said, "Oh, no...that was a different one. This guy had two just alike."

I mean...who builds two of these things?!

^ I like the pistol grip. The angle on the standard stock causes my wrist to hurt from an old skateboarding injury. (For the record, my skateboarding skills were minimal and I did not stick with the "sport" for very long, or even learn some of the more basic skills.)

Just picked up a CZ 75 B Omega, convertible.
Had to sell my PCR in worse times, missed it, since replaced it with an SR9c and nothing struck me as useful enough or fun enough to grab on its own merit... but my dad had gotten me a gift card for the local range/shop for my birthday in 2021 and I've barely been able to go.
    And haven't actually owned a full-sized, steel-framed 9mm so far.
Between the card and their sale, I got it for $300 otd.

Picked it up today. Tried it out too. .45 ACP. Shoots groups as good as my Sig P938 does. Very pleased with it. Came with one spare magazine and the plastic case.

Just bought another Uberti Remington 1890 Army Police in 45 Colt/ACP, a match to the one I bought in December for CAS.

That sounds great, a gun that can shoot both .45 Colt and .45 ACP. I have to look that one up because those are a couple of my favorite cartridges.

Nice pick up! I've always wanted a CZ-97 but the opportunity and funds never seem to align.

1986 Remington 1100 with Rem Chokes.
Belonged to a deceased friend's Dad.
It was only used a few times for hunting but was put away dirty many years ago.
After a good cleaning and a new O-ring, it's ready for action. Pics are how I got it.

I picked up another P365 to replace the one that resides in my wife's CCW holster.

Picked up this 3" M65 at a local pawn shop yesterday...serial # puts as '89 vintage.

It was pretty filthy and had some small spots of surface rust. I tore it down and scrubbed the finish with Kroil and Bronze wool and removed most of the rust-tinged spots and scrubbed all the decades-old dried grease and oil from the worky bits inside. Also installed some Wolff springs I had left over from my last M66...made a huge improvement in the trigger. Afterwards, I gave the gun and grips a coat of Renn Wax. (Wish I'd taken some before-cleaning pics to show the difference)

Judging by the complete lack of fouling/leading on the cylinder, forcing cone, etc. and lack of flame cutting on the top strap it appears to be unfired outside the factory. It has holster wear on the cylinder and muzzle, so someone must have bought it new, loaded up, and strapped it on without ever firing it.

Hoping to get to the range this weekend and see what it does.

    Nice purchase!

But handled a lot with the turn circle on the cylinder.

Picked up a M&P 15-22 today. If the S&W rebate deal works out I'll get $75 of my money back...which will put me right at $350 in it. Hope it doesn't suck.
No pics. It looks like all the rest of them.

Bought what seems to be an almost new shotgun today. I was looking for an inexpensive 20 gauge shotgun. I happened to be in a LGS this morning buying some ammo and I asked offhand if they had a used 20 gauge and they did. They had a Stevens 320 in the shop. It was the Field version with the 28 inch barrel, which wasn't exactly what I was looking for in terms of barrel length, but I bought it anyway. The thing looked like it had never been fired and I got a good deal on it. When I bought it home I tested the ejection and it worked well. I'm looking forward to Saturday to try it out.
