What is the last gun that you bought?

New CCW. Had a S&W M&P Performance Center Shield 1.0, but it wasn't working for me anymore. Upgraded to higher capacity and a red dot. My first Sig pistol owned and fired. Highly impressed. Don't worry: I'm not a snob. I shoot what I like to shoot, period. I don't care about brand. I bought this because it felt amazing in my hands and the size is perfect for me. Took to range last weekend and zero malfunctions with three different ammo loads/brands.

My last purchase was actually two guns, and one a shotgun, the other a .22RF rifle.
The shotgun is a Remington Rolling Block .20 gauge from the 1880's. In beautiful condition, with a great bore. A Sporting Shotgun that Remington offered from the mid 1870's to the early 18890's.

The 2nd is a JM Marlin Ballard #3 Gallery model. It's in .22 Long and has a very unusual hard rubber shotgun style buttplate instead of the standard steel crescent buttplate. Also in very nice condition with an excellent bore and optional peep tang sight. This one has Birmingham proof marks under the forearm indicating it was sold new to someone in England, and eventually found it's way back here!

Almost forgot an even more recent purchase! An 1880's Remington Hepburn Match A rifle in .25-20, with a 10x Litschert target scope! A really nice gun also, with a perfect bore!

What a silly thing to say! Of course you needed another CZ Actually, when you impulse buy a $1400.00 gun you may have a wee bit of a problem.View attachment 1227286

Been there, done that!

As a charter member of Enablers Unanimous, I really should be the last person to say someone doesn’t need another gun…

…but I’m human after all 😇

Stay safe.

I was looking through the firearm section, on a local classified site, early last week, and run across this S&W model 17-6. When I first seen it, I just scrolled over it, thinking it was just a regular model 17. As I was looking at other guns for sale, it hit me, something was different about this model 17. I went back and looked closer and it had a full lug barrel. I called the seller, went and looked at it. Other than a very light cylinder ring, it didn’t have a scratch on it. It had been well taken care of. It came home with me. Dating it the best I can, I think it is a 1992 revolver. It has S&W Target grips on it. I think S&W was shipping these with finger grooved combat grips, at that time. I am going to eventually find a nice set of S&W finger grooved combat grips, to get it back the way it was shipped. I have read, a lot of people swapped out the FGCGs for regular target grips, because they didn’t like the FGCGs. I like the look and feel of them, myself. Just a neat, not made long and not often seen S&W rimfire revolver.
