What is the last gun that you bought?

Today I successfully modified the 32-20 from a 3 clicker to 4 clicker, as it should be. It was fun to do, a learning experience. Taking it apart the little pin that works the hand fell out. Had no idea where it came from. With the help of Bill Fuchs I was able to get all back in place and it works like a charm

Wife let me pick out my Valentines/Father's Day gift, and I picked this.

S&W M&P 2.0 9mm with Holosun red dot.

And I have been looking for a nice 16 gauge for a while. I have lots of ammo and nothing to shoot it with. On the way to the gun show today I told my dad to keep an eye out for an Ithaca 37 or Winchester Model 12 in 16 gauge.

After we got to the gun show, I caught a guy that just walked through the door carrying a nice Model 12. I was expecting him to ask a high price. I wound up paying $300.

It is in great shape. Serial number dates it at 1947. Locks up super tight.

I had people trying to buy it off of me the rest of the show. Had one guy offer my money back plus an old H&R revolver before I made it 5 feet. I've carried guns around a lot at gun shows and have never had this many people stop me. Not sure why it was so popular this time around.
Are you sure you didn’t mug the man selling the Winchester model 12? That is a sharp looking one.

Winchester Model 12, 32 inch Full choke, 2.75 chamber field grade made in 1914.
My uncle had it and used it to teach me trap shooting. His son decided to part with it, so I bought it right away.
A Simmons rib was added and a Bishop stock in late 1950s though it still has a corn cob fore end.
I added a Beretta pad to raise the comb a little, I just shot a 23 at 16 yrd trap! Can't wait to try handicap.

In a continuing pattern of adding “old man’s guns,” I just bought an S&W Model 31-1, chambered .32 S&W Long, with a squared-butt grip frame and 1-7/8” barrel.

I do still buy 9mm and .45 Colt/ACP handguns, with some size and heft, but, .32 is a trend, with the li’l guns.

My Ruger .327 SP101 shoots .32 S&W Long…..

Sweet! I bought a 4” SP101 about 2003 to 2005, or so, chambered .32 H&R. Already in my early forties, then, I knew that my right hand would not be aging well. With the 4” SP101, and three .32 snubs, I could, if necessary, go all-.32, for most daily carry, even if my wife asks to have “her” .32 Model 631 back. (We “traded,“ her 631, for my Performance Center slicked-up Airweight, based upon an early 642 .38 Special.)

Probably my last new gun purchase for a while, my collection feels complete at this point. I got this new production North American Arms, Guardian 32ACP last week. I'm really liking this one! I put 75 rounds through it at the range so far, and was very happy with how well it performed. I'm going to be doing another 100 rounds with it soon.

With my other NAA, the 22 Short.

Those fit right in with my 380 Seecamp.

Yep, pretty much the same size. I have a 32ACP Seecamp, however I don't like it as much as the Guardian and will eventually be selling it off.

Larry Seecamp was a good friend of mine. He made me a 32, and later one of the first 380’s. He passed some years ago, and I miss our conversations. He sold the company to the current owners in the fall of 2014.
