What is the last gun that you bought?

Stopped at Sportsman's Warehouse last Saturday and found this barely used Beretta 686 Silver Pigeon. I have more shotguns than I can remember but a 28 gauge has always eluded me. I stopped at Wally world and picked up some boxes of bird shot, this gun will be fun for the starlings I have trying to build nests in my house.

It was built in 2024 and about $700 off new price without a flaw to be found. It came with the case, but is missing 3 choke tubes and the tube wrench however.

The automatic safety is going to take some getting used to.

Update from my last gun purchase, just took delivery of this twin pair of MPA DS9s, will be the new home defenders...on in the bed room and one in the living room. Off to the range tomorrow for test fire.

My dad had an auction Thursday where he was selling 140 or so guns, knives, and misc. I wound up buying 5 guns for myself. I felt bad though and asked before the sale started, if the guns go cheap, are you going to be upset with me if I buy some. He was OK with it.

I wound up with a Winchester 1911 "Widowmaker" he has had for years that I just wanted for it's unique design and story.

Also picked up an old Remington 12C, Steyr Pieper model 1909, Remington 760 .30-06, and the best of the lot, a Model 39 A Marlin. I will try to get some pictures tomorrow.

For some reason, the computer will not pick up the memory stick and download the picture. Which is not really important as it looks very much like a two inch model 10 S&W.
Except for the flat latch. And the over curvy hammer. And the lack of a model number under the crane. And it has "AIRWEIGHT" over the caliber (.38 Special) on the right side of the barrel. Empty, it weighs 18.3 ounces according to my scales.
Found it at the Kearney, Nebraska Gun Show.

If I can get my computer to play nice with the memory stick, I'll add a picture.
I likely won't shoot it much, if at all.
