Hello all,

My Grandfather has a piece of property close to a neighbor who loves ducks and geese. They share a pond. My uncle and a few friends have decided to hunt the pond on their side, far from the 450 feet required by the state. They have been doing very well, so well I may get my 10 out and go up and sit. My only problem is the neighbor. Because the neighbor loves ducks and geese, he has started making as much noise as possible to spoil their hunt. He calls them names and tells them they are 'big men' for killing ducks on Grandpa's property. He even called the police.

My question is; isn't there a law against someone interfering with a hunt? Can this guy legally scream and yell so the geese on Grandpa's side of the pond are scared away?

Call the DNR. Folks cannot spoil one's hunt in MI. Catch them on video.

Geno said it best, get them on video. I would get them on video before I did anything. When they ask for proof, you'll have it.
