What is the most recent knife you bought?

Last 2: baby banter and an artisan centauri. Banter has incredible thumbstud action and I diy tumbled the black blade. Centauri was on clearance at knife center: s35v, ti pocket clip for $35. it is a little large, but well designed. I'll probably stonewash that blade too PXL_20241225_213020081.jpg

And now for something different, 3.5" 9Cr18Mov/G10 Petrified Fish Eel fixed blade.

I usually consider "hole in blade" knives to have terrible ergonomics, but this intrigued me. Now that I've handled it a moment, I don't hate it. I kinda like it because it is comfortable. I'll have to put it to work in the kitchen on vegetables and meat and breaking cardboard boxes.

The Hogue Ritter and BM Freak are more similar than the Griptilian. The Griptilian is a little different. And yes, the Ritter is a better knife that costs less.

This was delivered today:

I thought this was one of the nicer Reate designs in the last few years.
I have had a wild Reate year. I’ve acquired like 8 in the last year. Love them all tremendously and am blown away by the quality for your dollar.

This one though, I love the inlay work and the curves. In profile it makes me think of the curves of high end sports car.

Got a Columbia River CRKT 2495GR Lucas Burnley Squid XM Button Lock Folding Knife. Came in Friday. I like the feel and size pretty good. Has an issue With the button lock. When I got it, it didn’t work. Meaning it opened and shut like a dead fish. No lock up and no friction to keep the blade closed. PITA moment. I worked it enough times to get it to start working. More today and it’s now usable. Dry gritty bottom lock. I like the scales and the blade shape works well.
