What is the most recent knife you bought?

5.25 inch Harold Corby ivory 8 pin subhilt fighter.

I'll get a pic up tomorrow, but this will give you an idea.

Mr. Corby has been making knives since the 1960s. He's been full time from at least the '70s. I first met him 30+ years ago when he came "across the mountain" to deliver his switchblades to Paragon Cutlery at the Parker Knife Show in Pigeon Forge (I still have a couple of those).

My Deka has arrived. I'm impressed. Even with my relative inexperience, the build quality sure seems to be on par with my Spyderco and my Benchmades. And it's wicked sharp from the factory. On the one hand, I'm looking forward to seeing what sharpening CPM 20CV is like, but on the other, I can't imagine I'll get it as sharp as it came to me. I guess I'd best get to using it, eh?

I have not contributed to this thread in quite a while (by my standards), and here is why:

Tom Krein full-dress Alpha framelock, Nichols "Raindrop" Moku-ti handles with a compound-grind blade in Nichols "Intrepid" stainless damascus and antique bronze-anodized titanium small parts. Orange peeled handles and backspacer.

Funny story behind this one, I got myself a little carried away back in January bidding on an open auction Alpha framelock in Tom's Facebook group in a similar configuration, but with a different pattern of Moku-ti and diamond milling instead of orange peel on the handles. Due to the vagaries of Facebook comments, Tom had a five-minute anti-snipe rule on the auction, but he didn't see my last bid within that window or the last bid of the actual winner who outbid me. He's a very stand-up guy, as are a lot of knifemakers, so he honored the last bid he saw for the winner and told me he'd make me something comparable for the same price as the winning bidder. This is the result, the One Knife of 2025, the Budget Buster that makes it impossible to buy any more knives this year even though it's just March.

Tom just finished it yesterday, and it's going to UPS today!

Probably the nicest Alpha I've ever laid my eyes on. Congrats!

Truely breathtaking, especially the pattern on the blade.

I'm crazy about Swiss Army Knives. I just don't know if I'm this crazy 🤔😂🤣.

Picked up a case single blade folder a year or so ago. Nothing fancy. Has about a 2.5 inch blade, and yellow handle panels. It's a great little everyday carry pocket knife. Maintains a good edge, I paid less than $30 for it, but it was in an older display case, so I got it for much older ( less ) than current pricing.
