What is this worth, Hawes .25 acp.

    Sorry don't have much info but a guy on a local forum is offering one for sale and just curious how much would be a fair price.

    Not a whole lot I would think.

    Here was on in the box that didn't sell for $85 bucks.

    Hawes has been out of business for about 30 years at least, and parts & service are not available.

    Hawes was a major importer during the 50s and 60s. The .25 was Italian made by Galisi, although there may have been another model made by J.P. Sauer in Germany. They were very inexpensive at the time, and have not increased in value much over the years as very few people collect them.

    Anyway, it would have been banned from import by the 1968 Gun Control Act, so it is at least that old.
