"Scottishclaymore". . . like the screen name. My wife and I have one hanging in our family room which we bought in Scotland on our honeymoon.

But to address the question:

My carry weapon changes with my clothing. 9 times out of 10 I have a DW RZ10 in either a hip IWB or Galco JAK slide holster with a spare mag.

If what I'm wearing doesn't permit that, I have a Glock 27 or Springfield XDM in .40 in a small of the back belly band. I don't trust the snap of the belly band to carry the Dan Wesson in it. . . it's come loose before, with the Glock in it. . .(Thank God it was the Glock).

Besides the CCW, my kit is a wallet, keys, phone and asthma inhaler :uhoh: . That's 1,2,3, and 4 of the pre-departure pat down, with 5 being my CCW and an optional 6 is an Ipod.

The only time I bring a flashlight is when I walk the dog(s) at night or if I'm going to some crummy part of town and have the appropriate clothing for one.

This doesn't change...only the choice of Shorts/Shirt worn with them. Semi-retired/Arizona...so shorts/casual shirt EVERYDAY!!!

The wallet is a USB thumbdrive "folder" customized to carry $$$,cards,smallknife(s),smallLEDlite/laser, Cellphone (emergency only...I don't answer it like an electronic leash..so stuck in the wallet is okay). Also have my keys attached. Since attaching my keys to my money...I have lost neither.

Works out to be about the same size as my OLD stuffed wallet...yet more organized. Looks like a "normal" sized wallet.
When closed it looks like a normal sportswallet...so nobody asks/wonders what's inside.

The PHONE is attached (inside) with velcro, so it stays in place at the checkout counter when getting Cards/Money out. It's a nice and flat phone.

The sweaty old blackhawk hat is as essential as the other stuff. (trail running shoes)

Notice the speedloaders don't typically get carried, and do end up staying in the car most of the time (with the sunglasses, or the glasses are often found on my freakin hat). 5-shots to get back to the car...but it's usually closeby. Extra light. First aid/trauma kit, bugoutbag (with lotsa extra water)found THERE also. My Carpenter's toolbags (handyman work sometimes for the old folks around here) are in the trunk also.

I have to give Doug S credit though for having the cool mini-prybar in the setup. Very cool.

I have recently been carrying all my CC stuff in a CC shoulder bag made by Tactical Taylor, and I cant see my self not useing it after having it. Its not always used, on ocasion if I am just running to the store, I will just grab a gun and one reload. For the most part though, its on me. I really like useing it when I go to work, so the pistol can stay real close to me in the bag and still not be in sight.

For my load out I always carry,

A Surefire G2 tactical flashlight
A C.R.K.T. M-16 EDC folding knife
Billfold
Blackberry
Keys
One of my CCW which are-- Kahr CW9, CW45, Taurus snubbies 905 & 605, E German Makarov
At least one reload if not two!

This question seems to come up about 3 times a week. I'm sure the "SEARCH" function will bring up a thread or two...
But some of us didn't post in those threads.

I carry a .45 XD with the 4" barrel. I've got the compact grip, but I decided that it's not any harder to conceal the full size 13-rd mag, so I'm carrying that now.
I don't carry a spare mag. Haven't convinced myself I need to.
I've got it in a Kholster half-moon, but I think I'm going to cut part of the top off so it looks more like a Supertuck... too much leather by the grip, slows down my draw.

CRKT mini Crawford-Kasper, well-worn mid-90s Surefire 6P, a Leatherman Juice, fully-charged cell phone and some miscellaneous junk in my pack. Even though I have the CPL I rarely carry, though I am considering a a few compact contenders to get myself back in the habit.

ruger lcp (front pocket high noon holster)
extra mag
gerber flik multi-tool (on belt)
swiss army fieldmaster
some type of clip knife (to many in rotation to name them all)
dip
cell phone
wallet
keys
at night a small mag-lite

My "LOADOUT"? Too funny. If you're asking what I walk out the door when I leave; ummmm....

1. My keys. Purpose: They allow my car to operate, and allows entry back into my house.
2. Cell Phone. Purpose: That's how people communicate in the 21st century
3. Handgun (Rifle and shotgun don't conceal too well). Purpose: Obvious. Which pistol: Whichever one suits the occasion. Walther PPK 32 when I'm in a dress suit or tux. CZ-82 for normal day to day. Sig P220 in very cold weather where I'm bundled and a holster isn't practical.

That's it. No, I don't need more magazines, knives, pepper spray, flashlight, or anything else.

My "LOADOUT" LOL!!!

Mine is about 285. If I take my gun, then it's about 286. However, it all depends on whether or not I go number two before I leave the house.

You mean not one other person here has thought to include a trusty Buckeye for good luck? Not even any of the Southern posters?...not even ONE buckeye??

Ummmm...

What is a buckeye?
