Bargain is kind of relative. The first thing that came to mind was the new Ruger SR22 pistol. Fun little pistol and not real expensive.

My personal "best buy" is a $199 (OTD) Makarov (380 acp) I got last year.

I happen to think used Ruger Single Actions are some of the best values out there

Ruger P95's, Smith and Wesson Sigma's, Taurus 709/740Slim, and maybe Keltec PF9 if you get lucky with one that works.

'70's vintage Dan Wesson 15-2. $300 OTD and it is the equal to any of my S&W in terms of accuracy. If it was my only revolver I would not feel uncomfortable.;)

Used; Tokarevs and Makarovs for $200, $100 for Nagant revolvers.

New; Sigmas for $280-ish and NAA minis usually around $200.

2nd and 3rd generation S&W autos. I got my 469 for $250. If I ever see another, I'll snatch it up in a heartbeat.

Absolutely. Just too big & heavy for the boxy black polymer crowd these days. ;)

The last 4506 that I saw was used at $500. For what you get I reckon that's a pretty good bargain. I actually had money down on it but cancelled to buy a nine for the wife.:(

Bersa and RIA are two of my favorite "bargain" guns. I paid $240 for my Thunder 380 and $450 for my RIA two tone tactical.

As far as bargains go, another vote for the S&W Model 10. My first handgun was a Model 10 with a 4" barrel and I shot it better than any number of handguns that were bought to replace it. I keep looking at the trade-in revolvers at Buds and trying to convince myself to get another Model 10. I just don't need anymore handguns (unless I can find an old S&W 22 revolver.) So I'm holding off.

CZ 82 ... for $190 they are an excellent bargain. The imported ammo is inexpensive also:)

S&W SW40VE bought NIB with 4 mags for $250 out the door. Almost didn't buy it since I'm not a big fan of pistols without a hammer, but Many MANY rounds later it has not failed. I even TRIED to make it jam with no success. IMHO a very solid gun with more than adequate accuracy for a very good price.

Good call. I got my 5906 for $299. It is truly as good as any steel 9mm ever made (yes Mr. Browning it is)

I would have to say my Llama 38 special... $90 at my LGS. When they say Smith copy-cat they ain't kidding... The original wood grips were warped and broken, but my Smith k-frame hogues fit like a glove. The first spin around the block also revealed a weak mainspring (occasional misfires). In my parts box I had a new mainspring and yoke screw from a 66 I once owned. Sure enough perfect fit. A Spanish copy-cat? YES :(, but it sure makes it easy to find parts.:)

I got you beat: I got my Ruger Mark I for $78 brand new in 1972, by myself. Still have it, and after 20,000+ rounds, good as new. Just old, I guess.

Picked up a star megastar .45 for $300. Perfect shape, 3 original mags. Heavy as hell but accurate and dependable. Like it much better than my HK USP .45.

Also picked up a S&W 1066 in really good shape for $400. Nice gun for the 10mm.
