Rotation changes with wardrobe . . . in order of carry frequency . . .

1. S&W 340Sc
2. Glock 26
3. S&W E-series 1911Sc
4. BHP

My favorite is usually the last one I bought

My favorite is usually the next one I buy. If Glock comes to their senses & makes a compact 10mm I'll make another contribution to their bottom line!

It's not my favorite carry gun, but it is currently my favorite conceal carry gun.
S&W model 637

I picked up a LC9S Pro a few weeks ago, which has quickly become my go to carry gun. I'll also carry a Glock 27 or 23, depending on what I'm wearing. If I need to pocket carry and need something small, it's the P938.

Well it was a Walther P5c but the thought of using it and it going into evidence I sold it and got a Glock26. The Glock is a bit smaller, much lighter and more capacity.

For the last several years S&W-MP9 or S&W-MP9c both are set up the same. Magazine disconnect, 10-8 sights, and Apex Duty/Carry triggering system. Both employ the same holster and magazine pouch. To me its KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) under the continuity of purpose application.

When I have enough garmentry to conceal it well, probably my SR9c Ruger. (And, therefore, my SR40c, as well.) But I often dress more lightly in warmer seasons, and when I do, I'd really rather carry IWB. In that case, the gun I carry most often is my Kel Tec P11. It's extra long trigger makes negl. discharge (which could be more catastrophic with IWB carry than belt holster carry) far less likely.

My new Taurus PT 111g2 promises to be a lighter and more versatile holster carry than the Rugers, and I may buy a Taurus PT 709, which will be even more so. Could make belt holster carry seem like a better option. The most pleasant carry, though, is the Ruger LCP. Always in the pocket with that one.

I love snubbies, and have several, but really just don't carry them anymore.

I actually prefer my SP101 2.25" barrel to all my other guns in terms of power and durability.

That said, I find the Beretta Nano the cat's pajamas these days. IWB, the 8 round mag gives me a full purchase and hides just fine. In my back pocket, the 6 rounder disappears. On top of that, I shoot it better than my full size pistols:eek: I'm probably one of the only people that PREFERS its trigger, but I like it enough to be interested in their new full size striker-fired model should it have a similar trigger in it.

My biggest problem is that my carry piece has to be invisible. Today I am wearing a tucked in polo shirt into jeans. Even my Bodyguard .380 would be tough to hide. I may have to invest in an NAA Mini for my jean's fifth pocket or something:evil:

As others have posted, it depends upon the season. Here in SC, it gets hot and humid during the summertime. :fire: Shorts and tee shirts unless you`re a reptile.
Summer: usually a Ruger LCP
Winter is fun: Ruger SR9c or Colt Defender .45, sometimes a S&W 686 (shoulder holster)

Old geezer, old gun.

Customized 1915 vintage .455 MK II Hand Ejector modified to shoot 45 Win Mag/Long Colt with moon clips.
An old cowboy in a leather vest don't draw much attention in Wyoming.

For years it was a Rossi M88 2 inch 38 spl and now it is mostly a Sig P290rs with occasional winter carry of the S&W 4506 cause I love the gun but, hard to conceal without winter attire.

I guess the "Old Geezer" syndrome brought up by Iggy applies.

I have no gun of the month issues, no carry rotation to keep straight. I bought a fifth issue Colt Detective Special (made after production of new parts, pinky hook pachmayrish grip) and settled on it. Partly because I don't live in Mogadishu or Takrit.

There is a significant advantage for me in this and I sleep very well at night.

Glock 23. I have had it for 20 years or so and still have not found something that I feel could replace it as my EDC.

#1 East German Makarov that I had converted from 9X18 to .380

#2 Beretta 950 "Jetfire" .25 ACP (for those times when I don't feel like carrying the Mak)

I am seriously considering replacing the Mak though, the new Glock 43 looks appealing to me. My wife has a G42 and I like it alot, and have considering buying a second one for myself, but I couldn't justify spending a bunch of money to replace my .380 with another .380 (and one with a lower capacity at that). Now, replacing a .380 with a 9mm, that might make sense...

I'm not sure though, will wait and see if the prices on the G43 drop. Also, I have a very high degree of trust in the Mak, that thing is crazy-reliable. Even if I buy a Glock I'm going to want to put alot of rounds through it before I carry it, I don't want to replace a known reliable pistol with something potentially less reliable...

Years ago, a Mauser HSc is what i had on me. Its beautiful and works great (art with a bang!) , but i figure the 1911 style controls to be superior in a combat/defensive role. (Im only theorizing at this point)
And so, today i carry a BHP. If that isn't practical for whatever reason, then im carrying a sig p238.
And for those times when concealment isnt a concern; Para P14!

Springfield Armory XDs in 9mm or 45 ACP.

3.3 inch barrel.

Fit the same holster, depending on how I feel that day.

Light, small, reliable and accurate.

What's not to like.
