CZ 75 D. It may not be the most accurate but is the most comfortable and reliable to shoot.
Or you can buy a pistol with easy caliber interchangeability, like my EAA Witness 10mm/.45/9mm/.22LR, and have the best of both worlds.I also agree that the 10mm is a great cartridge, but you have to think about availability and cost.
The .45 acp has more defensive power than a 10mm, .357 mag or 44 mag?
38, 38 special, 357, 380, 9x19, 9x17 and 9x25 are all exactly the same size of .355 in diameter.
