You lay down a hand like that, and you better have a Browning Automatic Rifle.
When I was an Adviser to the Viet Namese Army, we used to get packages for "health and welfare" every now and then -- stuff like soap, toothbrushes, paperback books, so on. One time we got a box full of pinochle cards -- there must have been 50 decks. There were only four of us, and none of us knew how to play pinochle, and there were no instructions. We stowed that box away.
Later there was some kind of party. Some of the Viet Namese were playing poker around a fire -- Viet Namese poker is much more raucous then American poker. Someone dropped some of the cards in the fire. So a drunken, giggling binh si came to our hootch and asked for one of those decks of cards they knew we had. Smiling an inward evil smile, I gave him a deck of pinochle cards.
A couple of minutes later, the damndest fight you ever saw broke out. Someone emptied a Thompson submachine gun into the roofs of all the surrounding hootches.

My "favorite" is the Webly. Not the best, just the highest "cool factor" in my mind. I often carry mine when hunting, as it has the cut cylinder for .45ACP, and is deadly on grouse with the .45ACP shot-shells. No, I don't shoot standard .45acp in it, mostly use auto-rim brass and a duplicate of the 265 grain .455 bullet, at around 650fps.
