    1. .45 ACP for loading simplicity
    2. .308 WIN because of its accuracy potential ;)

    .38 special. Mild to wild.
My favorite because it is the most I shoot.
I also love .32 S&W long because I love to shoot that as much as the .38.

.357 for the vast variety of characteristics that can be gotten from it. Just a fun cartridge to load, for me. Plus, the case is a lot longer than 9 and since I load powder with a funnel, they're easier to handle.

1 .40 S&W because it's simple to load and it's my favorite handgun round to shoot.

    2 .375 H&H because it's the first rifle I loaded for.

Don't have a favorite, because why reload a caliber you don't like. Haha. Every caliber and gun i load for is my favorite. 30-30 is what i started with.

For handgun it's a draw between .38SPL for its ease and flexibility and .40S&W for the level of precision it requires.

For rifle it's again a tie between 45-70 for its ease and flexibility and .257 Roberts for the level of precision it requires.

A pattern emerges. I seem to enjoy both ends of the spectrum more than the in-between range.

In handgun, .357 mag. is my favorite to load. Nothing like an H110 load to get your blood pumping, especially in the dark!

In bottle neck cartridges, I really enjoy loading for the 7mm RM because it offfers me a wide variety of velocities to work with. In this respect, I truelly enjoy loading 100 gr. varmit loads that are in the 3800 fps range. Anyone who has ever shot a coyote with a 100 gr. HP going 3800 fps knows just how cool it is to see a coyote simply disintegrate into little tiny pieces of fur, blood, and guts, for real!

I like the 357Sig because it has a lot of potential, both good and bad:scrutiny:
I do like the good 'ol .45acp because almost anything will work and the 1911's it often chambered in.

I'm curious what extra precision have you found to be required when reloading .40 S&W? I so far have found that every handgun cartridge, and every rifle cartridge has about the same level of simplicity. Provided you follow the correct procedures and have good data. Again just wondering not doubting, I would just like to know your findings.

Pistol: 327 Fed Mag. Its pretty flexible and cheap to load for. From 85 grain XTPs to 100 grain Missouri RN to 130 grain keiths. Its all fun.

Rifle: 25-06. This is the caliber that got me into reloading. 75 grain Vmax and 85 grain Silvertips do serious damage to the coyote around here. 115 grain Nos Partition has proven to be a great deer load. Berger 115 VLDs are scary accurate out to a few hundred. I have thoroughly enjoyed load development for my 25-06 rifles.

22 LR. Just to be wierd.

Actually, 7x57. Good all-around cartridge for everything from jackrabbits to mulies. Add in some trail boss loads and the kids can enjoy it.

My favorite handgun caliber to reload is the 38/357 because the majority of my revolvers are chambered in those calibers. BUT, my heart belongs to the .45 Colt because it's very old, it's very powerful and some very cool revolvers are chambered in .45 Colt!

As for rifles, again I'm split. I would have to say the 30-06 because of the old military rifles I have that shoot it. (03A3, Model of 1917 and M1 Garand) BUT, my heart belongs to the 45-70 because again, it's a very powerful round and it's fired in a very cool rifle, the Springfield Trapdoor.

I guess I'm just an old Cowboy at heart because I love the Vaquero and SAA in .45 Colt and the Trapdoor and Sharps in 45-70...

Wow, cool, you reload the .22LR. I thought that was very hard to do if at all?

Full power 357 loads. Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face then running the lever on a fully fed Marlin 1894C. It's my ultimate stress reliever.

308 because I haven't yet acquired a 257 Roberts and it's the only centerfire bottleneck cartridge I reload for.

I have a great .308 load worked up and it is the most rewarding, but all in all I love reloading the 50 BMG. Mainly because out of all I reload, it saves me the most money.

I like reloading my little Hornet the most because it is so much fun to shoot and will kill whatever needs killing at most ranges and is so cheap to reload too. About 650 rounds on one pound ot powder.:)
