i was at the gun shop the other day when something cought my eyes. i'm an ak fan so here was this all black ak. it had a slant muzzle break, synthetic stock and smooth hand grip and small mag dimples. doesn't say what the make is but just century international arms. i have a wasr-10 and i know it's not romanian. i don't know what other makes lower end ak's but i think it might be a yugo because romanians don't have mag dimples. sells for about $525 new, is this too much? also i've heard yugo is better quality than romanian but performance wise are they the same? i get 3-4" groupings iron sight @ 100 yards with the romanian and for what i use it for, it's good enough for me.

Sounds like a Century GP75--Romanian parts kit on an American receiver and barrel. Not a bad rifle, from what I understand.

"Romanian's don't have mag dimples" is very generalized.

There are hundreds of thousands of "G" kits built here in the USA on dimpled US made receivers.

sorry i was referring to just the gun itself not the parts kit. didn't know the kits were assembled as stated above. so i'm guessing it's gonna have similar performance in terms of accuracy.

And thousands upon thousands of SAR-era imports with dimples on hi-cap receivers as well.
