Not what you own but what you use. Be honest and multiple answers are allowed but changing your votes is not.

I use an APP for decapping and sizing a few pistol cartridges. Mostly .380ACP, 9mm, .40S&W and .45ACP. I also decap revolver cases but don't bother sizing them on the APP - those long, straight-walled cases slow down the automation.

I currently pump out mass quantities on a borrowed rcbs jl3. My target loads are finished with an arbor press and a le Wilson chamber seating die. I have 2 other presses at my pops place a redding t7 and a rcbs Iv. I am intrested in getting a lee turret just to try.

I load handgun on a progressive. I have three different brands and each has its advantages and disadvantages for particular cartridges.

Rifle, for the most part gets loaded on a single stage. I do load 204 Ruger prairie dog ammunition on a progressive but cases are prepped on a single stage.

I use a Lyman Spartan and an lee hand press. I just like them.

I'd like to have a turret but I ain't got into learning the particulars yet to figure out what type, and what changes I'll need to make.

Rifle: Three RCBS Rock Chuckers and one longer ram model.
Rifle & Pistol: A Redding T-7 (love it).
Pistol: An APP and a LEE 4-hole'er Classic. I like the "turret cakes", gets the job done and the dies stay set.
No progressives and powder is all metered and weighed. My handgun reloading is not the fastest.

I can tell you there is far less play in the T-7 turret vs Lyman & LEE. If I could only have one press it would be this.

High volume pistol cartridges get kicked out on the Hornady ProJector... and large amounts of rifle cartridge assembly as well, after the prep has been done on the single stages. My ProJector is box stock... I don't even have a automatic powder drop hooked up. I prefer being more hands-on with it... I can feel the powder bind, for example, or when I get a case with too much (or too little) crimp, etc, etc. If I was loading match quantities of 9mm or 45ACP, things might be different... but that's not me.

Case prep (sizing...) gets done on the Rock Chucker in the garage, where the tumbler is. I need the leverage of the RC for sizing .30-06 and .348WCF cases, which can take a bit of handle. The sized cases go straight into the tumbler to remove the lube.

Low volume case prep, some rifle assembly, small quantities of pistol, usually test loads, get done on the RCBS Reloader Special next to the ProJector. It's a smaller press, but of good build quality and a fair amount of leverage. It has, hands down, the best primer seat in the world... but you have to handle every single primer.

I use red ones!:)

A well loved Hornady single stage, a brand new, not even unboxed and waiting on accessories for awesomeness Hornady Ammo Plant, an exceptional Lee APP, and a no longer used Lee HandPress. It’s dedicated depriming duty taken over by the APP.

First an rcbs special 2 single stage, an rcbs auto 4x4 progressive, a Lyman spartan, and a Lee breech lock single stage. I've used them all this year, I did however sell the Lee and Lyman to a friend and brand new reloader and enough tools and supplies for 3 different cartridges at almost break even prices. I figure it's worth taking a bit i
Of a loss to help out a new guy.

What's the difference between a "Mass Production Progressive" and a "Simple Progressive" used for mass production? I may be able to check 2 boxes with one press.

Well, from what I’ve observed from the folks who have each kind, one has automated case feeders and automated bullet feeders and automated powder droppers so all the operator has to do is yank the handle. The other may or may not have a powder drop or primer feeder but it still moves the cases through the whole process when the operator yanks the handle. Make sense?

Then I have two-thirds of a mass production progressive. ;)
