What knife are you carrying today?

This one right now. Buck 303. Great little pocket knife.View attachment 1242831
That one's nice
Mine is considerably used and the
walk and talk ain't what it used to be.
Still sharp as it ever was though.
It's opened thousands and thousands
of boxes and cut miles of hose.

Same one I've been carrying, about forever.

They sure are great knives!

Today, like most days, I carried a Kershaw Scallion (like @DM~ pictured above, but purple), and a Benchmade Pardue. The Kershaw is durable, but affordable, so it takes a lot of abuse, the Benchmade is light and extremely sharp, reserved for purposes which call for such.

Grabbed the Blur today

I carried a Blur, but with a half-serrated Tanto point blade, for a lot of years. Really liked that knife, even though I would not have picked a Tanto point for myself - it was a gift. Unfortunately, on a trip with some business colleagues several years ago, we took a subway into Philly and decided to see the Liberty Bell, not knowing the security for the viewing pavilion was akin to TSA at the airport, so I was stuck abandoning my Blur in a trash can on the street (couldn’t even surrender it to their security folks), outside of the hall. I’ve always meant to get another Blur, but my wife got me a Scallion and a Select-Fire (hex screwdriver tip storage in the handle and a folding 1/4” hex drive socket, which have made up my EDC “utility” carry ever since, and I just haven’t bought another Blur.

I carried a Schrade Cliphanger for over a decade as well, part of me still wants to buy another of those as well, but I have only found the clip point models, and I liked my old drop point better.

Wife wanted to go to the mall one day, we decided to grab lunch, and entered through the restaurant.

We walked into the mall from the restaurant, next thing I know, a deputy is tapping me on the shoulder. He said "no weapons are allowed in the mall!" I had that 🤷 look on my face, he said "your knife." He saw the clip from my Blur, sticking out of my pocket.

I had to walk back out to the car, on the way back in, I saw the sign. It was about the size of a football, in the lower corner of the door!
