What knife are you carrying today?

I bought this 2002 Mini Commander from a fellow member last year, cleaned it up, sharpened it and gave it a bit more bend in the lock to get better lock performance. My current thought is that I'm going to EDC it exclusively for a whole year but we'll see how long that lasts. In looking at it and the current version, I think it may be the Buck 110 of tacti-cool folders in that it's pretty much the same knife today as it was when it was first created.

The second knife (Griptilian) is a rescue I picked up last month. I ordered new screws, a clip and thumb studs from Benchmade who now have an online order form vs having to call them in the past. It's got S30V steel and I was able to put a wicked edge on it but it could still use some improvements to the serrated edge portion. I have no idea what it was used for to get so worn/abused. I compared this one with a nearly new Griptilian and the amount of metal gone from this one is actually very minimal compared to new, but it certainly doesn't look that way.

That Grip has been through the ringer! I don't think there's much you can do for the serrated part.

Someone put it through a lifetime of use, hopefully, you can also. 🙂

I guess I'm kinda boring. I'm carrying this (https://www.leatherman.com/free-k2-586.html) in its homemade leather pouch today. I carried it yesterday, and Lord willing, I'll be carrying it tomorrow.
I figure the only thing that will change is the fact that this picture was taken not long after I first got the knife/multi-tool and I had just built the simple pouch. It's getting pretty well worn now, so I should probably build a new one. I think I use the knife/multi-tool for something or the other almost every day though, so I'm not going to start carrying something else. ;)

Everyday a Case Copperlock. Dress up days or lighter clothing a Case Executive. If I'm hunting or in the woods and I remember I bring a Benchmade.... I forget the model. Typically the Case is already in my pocket if my pants are on :)
