Make my GP-100 with a 7.5 in barrel and that’ll put a big ole grin on my face.
All I really want is a 12 inch Rossi 92 with an actual butt stock, but it’s deemed a scary SBR in our country.
I also would love a high quality 9mm lever action.
Feasible with current mfg? MOA accuracy might be pushing it with that platform, but I think it's doable. That pesky endangered species act gets in the way though. Maybe I'd settle for giraffe bone or similar.
On another thought why not straight wall the 17 WSM to .251 or .257"
Taurus 450 Titanium. They are real expensive though.
With the bolt opening on the left side.
Yes, they are why I have the thought stuck in my head. I keep hoping they will do another run of them or I can find a used one at a reasonable price. Hard to find though.
Basically what I'd like to build for a "Big Woods" rifle.
Seems like the part that overhangs behind the pistol grip would smash the top of your arm pretty hard in recoil...
Once they get people used to break tops again, they or S&W can follow it with full sized ones in larger calibers at normal prices.
In the same vein, I wouldn’t mind seeing a Rem M7 LH action. Or some other LH mini action. CZ dabbled a bit with their 527 but they are scarce and expensive.
There is a company that converts .357 Marlins to 10mm. I looked into it and you have to buy the Marlin and send it to them and the conversion is about $3500.00.
It doesn't. Have you ever shot an XP-100?
Mine's chambered for the 7mm IHMSA - a "necked down" 300 Savage. It's LOUD, but the recoil isn't as bad as what might be imagined.
Nope, obviously. I'll take your word for it though!
Depends on what caliber. 221 Fireball not too bad.
