What powders to try for 9mm?

Does anyone know why Lymans 49th does not list load data for 9mm 124gr bullets?

Use 125 Gr data. One grain difference is meaningless.

4.7" bbl, Light load: 124/125 jacketed -RN & HP, 4.0 grs N320, 1040'/sec. (n320 has a small range of min to max load, and max load isn't fast)

Win231 shot well at this speed, but shot dirty.

Going to try 700X soon--same speed range.

700X works well for light loads.

If you think W231 was dirty at lower pressures you are just going to hate 700X!

My experience with 700X at low pressure has been just the opposite, very clean. Solo 1000 does even better. There is a "too low" for any powder though.

I shoot the heck out of Tite Group, last 1700+ rounds I have loaded in various grain bullets with better results compared to blue dot... but that is what my XD's prefer

Never used it. I have had 700X shoot dirty a couple of times, but in each case a tad more powder/pressure cleaned it right up.

231 may look dirty, but it does not leave unburnt flakes all over the place to interfere with the intricate mechanisms of modern crunchentickers.
